This is an extremely accurate example of how the ruling elite operate, you cannot fight these people in the conventional manner for they are above the law and completely untouchable,or so they think,8/10.

Saw this movie when i was younger and...phew right over my head....8 years later i start digging into gov cover ups and conspiracys leads me to freemasons...which lead me to illuminati...skull and bones all these groups i knew nothing about the first time around, 11 years later i've converted myself from a mainstream zombie that accepts everything the news tells us and history books lies have told us...but i just dont believe their lies anymore i have accumulated roughly 4 years of my own research for my own self and i feel that the small secret society as shown is this movie is but a miniscule fraction of the power they have and what they have done or can do...none the less this is a clearer picture to those just coming aware to these groups. I heard Jim Mars that the illuminati have a kind of rule, where they will conduct themselves in a secretive manner but always somehow giving the mass population glimpses of when they intend to do through movies and media, alot of stuff in these movies besides face value. well enough of my rambling, i enjoyed the movie very much, i like the courage it too the guy to go against them, that is unheard of thats why is was nice to see. We can win this war, if you believe as much as i do, the cause continues....catch yall on the farside 10/10

This movie is great, Josh Jackson and Paul Walker had superb performances. If you like this movie you might also enjoy The Good Shepherd with Angleina Jolie and Matt Damon

I enjoyed this movie, but I don't know where they came up with the horror genre, but it was a good thriller and a dark drama with an excellent cast. I hadn't even noticed that Paul Walker was in this before I started watching it so that was a bonus for me. Yes, it was rather predictable, but I think they made up for that with the fantasy views into "how the other 1/100th live" - I know I'm a sucker for any guy in a tux, so there was nice eye candy! 4/5

What I liked about this flick this the element of truth that is touched upon. It does a good job of convincing viewers that secret societies are secretive and can only be seductive to those (frat boys) who feel they have nothing to lose by renouncing their family and friends, solely for the purpose of self promotion by any means. It's meant to appeal to guys who crave to be something special by playing by the rules which ignore all the boundaries of a lawful society. I believe it is meant to repel women of integrity who understand intimacy isn't possible with a secretive mate. However, it may invoke jealousy in those women who long to feel as powerful and exploitive as men are allowed to be by joining secret societies (excluding witches in covens). In summary, I believe Hollywood approved of this sanitize version of secret societies because is reinforces the belief that they are, and will always be, above the law.

15 years since I watched this and I still like it ... I love William Peterson and loved his closing line, Walker is always a favorite as are Josh Jackson and Craig Nelson. A tad predictable but close enough to the truth of the "old" Skull & Bones Society to make it interesting. So the acting isn't necessarily stellar, it's still a fun watch. Members of SB are a virtual who's who of international power brokers including 3 generations of Bushes and John Kerry as were 5 of Bush's cabinet members, Fed Ex founder Fred Smith and Henry Luce the man behind Time, Life, Fortune and SI, William F. Buckley who tried to block letting women in. But SB has changed. It's no longer a big secret, Deer Island lies in ruins, women, blacks and gays are tapped but the Tomb is still their ivy covered tower.

This was a good movie, I loved that William Petersen and Paul Walker was in it..(didn't know) I believe The Skulls is the same fraternity/Secret Society that Bush was in..? wonder if it had all the ritual stuff, I bet...Probably Yes.

it was good in my books. interesting idea if not seen before but the actors pulled it off nicely so it's a solid 6.5/10

Nothing new here. This is a typical *learn the secrets of the secret society* movie with a strong cast and pretty good plot, given the limitations of the concept. The outsider who does not quite fit in has issues with the club and things that go on; this is all part of the sub-genre The Skulls belongs to, so you expect it, and it is there. The end is predicable and a bit forced, but it is a fun ride. It has parts where you think this movie does not know what to do with itself, and you are probably right. A fun movie but not too original. It claims to be based on real events, but this is probably very, very loose.
