You don't have to be a writer or into literature to dig this film, but if you are, this will probably be something you can to relate to hands down. Complex, sensitive human drama set in Manhattan with characters I was interested in seeing how they worked out their existential angst. Frank Langella is superior.

I agree with Precious, this movie is poignant and dramatic, with themes such as growing older and becoming infirm, and regrets. With a backdrop of academia and literature, a great quiet film. 3.5/5, Langella is excellent and so is Lili Taylor.
