WOW, In many ways it is a movie way ahead of its time. Although I can not stand what an American hating Communist that Harry Belefonte became, this has got to be his best role. Twilight Zone alumni Inger Stevens is as lovely as ever, and Jose Ferrer is great. As a big fan of the Last Man /Last People on Earth Genre, it was nice to see a film without Zombies or "the Infected" being used as the primary source of tension. This time, it all came from within the hearts of our heroes. 8/10+ Rating from me.

Jose Ferrer, while an excellent actor in his own right, was NOT one of the co-stars in this movie. This was Mel Ferrer, and appears to been no relation to Jose Ferrer.
