This was one of my favourite films as a teenager and now 25+ years on I watch it again and it is still just as great. A timeless classic.

One of the best vampire movies ever.. great acting, creepy atmosphere and some laughs. Also nice to use a setting like the Carpathian Mountains instead of Transylvania and Count von Krolock instead of the usual Vlad Dracul.

This is NOT Sharon Tate's last movie (I agree it is a classic, though.) She had two movies released after this in '67, including Valley Of The Dolls (her most famous.) She had two more in '68 (incl Rosemary's Baby), and finally Thirteen Chairs aka 12+1 in 1969. She was killed that year by Manson's Family two weeks from giving birth. Tragic story that would make a great movie in itself.

Just read Helter Skelter so had a quick look at this to check out Sharon Tate. Poor cow. This film is puerile shit though.
