Even faulty capitalism lifted billions from poverty in China, it works. This is a anti American propaganda documentary. It's sad people are buying this bull.

I love Michael Moore i think alot of things that he says about america is true but not EVEYTHING is true but still he makes good documentarys,so folks dont get so upset by everything he says or anyone else for that matter u have to research things for yourself and come to your own conclusion.

Winston Churchill famously said, 'Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all the others.' I think the same can be said of Capitalism as an economic system.

I always love how people seem to be so involved in U.S. politics, but none of the overly opinionated jerk offs ever actually pay attention to anything going on in the country. Go back to your daytime dramas and your girl next door on the E! channel. Your opinion doesnt count, You didnt even vote. Oh you did, but for American Idol, not the president.. Get a clue

This was a horrible documentary Moore he is arguing against corporatism which is more akin to socialism than free market economics will ever be. HE rewrites history just as he has in the past while constructing a strawman that he knocks over with ease.

When I watch a Moore movie I always think even if half of this is true that is unbelievable. What I really do not understand in this "capitalism" that how is that possible that the same management are governing most of comps even after this serious financial crises.I thought the reason that capitalism is great b/c the smartest, best decision makers and hardest workers succeed and who is not fit to be a leader or visionary goes to bankrupt. If a top manager made bad decisions then just fires most of the workforce.Top mngt should bear the consequences of their bad management and leadership results. It also makes me sad that most of the people in the US does not know the difference between socialism and communism. That being said most of the people does not know either that the US is not a real capitalist country either. I recommend this movie b/c it is really one side of the full story and one should be open minded even if it is not aligned with their own view.

Another important film bringing up very important points. Sure the music isn't necessary all the time and some of it makes it overdramatic and too comical, but not all that often. The message comes through and as it might be a bit angled (like many many documentaries are), it is still a very real problem that is presented and hopefully it will be somewhat of a wakeup call for change.

This is his best film yet.Maybe even his swan song.I mean, really, where can he go from here? His earlier films seemed to be tackling symptoms of the illness. In this one,he took a massive bite out of the disease itself. It's important to remember,as Moore points out,it's not Capitalism that's the problem. It's the assholes who have warped it's purpose, and abused it to meet their own selfish gains to the detriment of the people.I just wish he would have actually used the term,"serfs",to describe what the American people are being very slowly morphed into.True enough.

My economics teacher made us watch this. It was an interesting watch; a little too one-sided for my liking and some bits felt a little too over the top (which weakened the serious tone it assumed) but it was certainly informative.

while Michael Moore is trying to do some good with his documentary I agree with other posters about his "misrepresentation of the facts" he is great at what he does and I do believe he stands up for peoples rights but he does so in a biased way and people need to be careful/critical when watching his films. is imprisoning youth for small petty crimes for monetary gain good? absolutely not. Does that make capitalism bad? I don't think so He tells many scary and appalling stories in this film I keep in mind that the USA is a big country and there are many stories to be told. Capitalism leaves a lot to be desired as far as human rights and worker's rights go.

As an anarchist I love the premise of this film. Anti-capitalism is always going to be a win for me... with that said, I do not like Michael Moore's approach to "documentaries" (notice the quotes? Yeah.) Michael Moore brings excellent points to semi-mainstream audiences (more mainstream than most documentaries, I think) which is fantastic. Unfortunately, he uses the same sensationalist methods as the very people he claims to be against: lobbyists, politicians, mainstream media. How can I believe in someone saying "this is bad!" when at the same time he is doing exactly that thing? This film is no exception. He is using hard-hitting images and words that make anyone who isn't educated about economics feel like they know enough to have an opinion. My verdict on this film is that while it is a good movie, it's not a good documentary. That is an important distinction.
