History Channel - Ape to Man: Scientists from the mid-nineteenth century have searched for the fossil remains of the "missing link" in evolution - the half-man, half-ape that would explain where mankind came from. But over the last century and a half, it has been the idea of what a missing link is that has evolved. The history of this scientific quest - peopled with fanatics, frauds, amateurs, professionals, the lucky, the unlucky, the unfairly neglected and the undeservedly praised - is the subject of this documentary. Reenactments depict scientists making their discoveries and then stretch back hundreds of thousands, even millions, of years to depict the typical lives of our human and human-like ancestors. Interviews with leading scientists fill in the details.

This documentary is full of bull. Man didn't evolve from apes. If we did, why are there still apes on this planet. This myth has already been debunked.

I don't believe in Evolution, We did NOT come from Apes, God created Man and I don't mind debating with anyone on this matter. Please respect my opinion that's all I ask.

its really sad how many people give negitive response to people that are just voicing their oppinions!! instead of voting people down why not try to explain why you do not agree with the other persons oppinion instead of just giving a negative rating?? Great documentary. by the way.. creationism and darwinism.. are both the same thing!! if your a darwinist, what do you think causes us to evolve? environment! in that case god has made us evolve because god is everything, air, water, earth, atoms, quarks. god is not some physical being that made us like a sculpter molds clay. god is every single part of ALL physical and non physical beings and entities. if your a creationist then you must realise man just didnt pop out of thin air. what came first, the chicken or the egg? well, all birds start as eggs, but all birds also started as one species and environment changed their appearance and abilities. now some birds look like geese and some look like chickens! we never came from apes or monkeys. white people are not orangutans and black people are not gorillas. as primates we all share a common ancestor, and environment has made us evolve differntly than other primates. and sence god is environment then god perpetuates evolution. in my mind that is the best of both worlds and who wouldn't wat to have their cake and eat it too? a stubborn pecimist! thats who!!

what are the odds of a homo - type creature , losing 2 chromosones (which every other animal has, which is 48, we have 46) and evolving into what we now are human beings , then migrating to every corner of the world to start our own civilizations without divine intervention or other worldly beings ?? The answer is 0 ,............. plus you gotta explain how humans lifted 250-1000 ton rocks , cut and fit into place , ,. just tell me please ,.. i would really like to know ....

....we should go ask some ants or some bees who they think have colonized the planet we all share...or millions of other species that have come and gone in more than 4 billion years...but that's not the point, without vegetation, plants and trees we would have not evolved to anything,we wouldn't be here.In the main pattern of things our planet has generated life and from that has reached consciousness after so many millions of years, the planet thinks through us and we are only a tiny part of this wonderous and rare plan, for which we should feel very proud...together with the sequoia trees or the whales or the eagles or the lizards or the birds or a tiny blade of grass, and millions more....evolutions and extinctions of thinking will walk the planet with or without us...it's good to know who our ancestors were but that's all there is folks,we are only passers by...great documentary and good food for thoughts.

Anyone who doesnt believe that evolution is true lack logical thinking

lol whatever , you can all think we evolve from a primate over a time span of say what ? some odd billion years . NOBODY really knows for sure . But what is factual is that we are intelectually capable(for some unknown reason, evolution? doubt it.), and our ignorance is stupendous, implying we are the only thing capable of logical (in most cases) thought. I have noticed some people are implying that one man created us and he is our God(a very "modern easy" way of veiwing things) but it is highly recommended to speculate on the idea that our ancestor's originated from 'star people' as they refered them, or Ancient Aliens, because the evidence is all around us, I for one remain 'un-concluded' because 'no-one really knows! it's all what you beleive.'.. for now! haha, but seriously , .. .. I can't tell you everything you need to know for it would take forever you have to do that research yourself , but you should prolly check out this link first of all , http://www.1channel.ch/watch-905569-Ancient-Aliens-The-Series you dumb, ludicrous people ;p but I most admit your unflinching devotion , and resistance to other idea's is sometimes impressive ... K im gonna watch this video now .

We did not come from apes, we share a common ancestor. Anyone who thinks otherwise demonstrates a lack of knowledge regarding the theory of evolution through the process of natural selection. Regarding God creating man mrroyal good luck proving that myth.
