I LOVE this documentary! I didn't know the babies really look like that... Absolutely adorablllllllle! They've captured the winter very well, my heart ached watching the little penguins trying to survive. 4.5/5 (just because nothing is perfect).

I'm not ashamed to say that I cried my eyes out in this movie. Those penguins go through sooooo much for the sake of their egg. They are true heros.

I've never seen Emperor Penguins in real life and I've always thought they were like 4 feet tall or taller cause of how they're portrayed in documentaries and other nature shows but when i saw them standing next to the film crew they're so fricken small LOL but anyways i think this show was pretty good.

This a very beautiful documentary. Morgan Freeman does an excellent job narrating. I will never look at a penguin quite the same now that I have seen this. It is wonder any survive the hardships they must endure. 10/10

This was a really good documentary. The parent penguins go through so much to keep their babies alive. I especially have to give props to the daddy penguins because not only do they have to keep the eggs warm through the harsh winter but they go without food for 4 months. I don't know how they do it but they are strong penguins. 10/10 for the cute baby penguins. They are so adorable.

I wonder if chicks who have lost their mothers are adopted by mothers who have lost their chicks...? Just for fun, I watched through the credits and the penguins reaction to the camera crew ranged from Oh Hi! to Yeah, whatever.

Such a raw and real interpretation of one of evolution's greatest creations. They are capable of amazing feats, because they decided not to migrate from Antarctica in the first place. What brave animals! This documentary only could have been longer. 4/5

Really brilliantly filmed, beautiful film. Penguin dads put some human dads to shame with their superior paternal instinct :) Great documentary 10/10
