The ballet is such a moving and artistic dance and which this movie captures it's essence. However, we began to realize that this is a very disturbing, if not torturous way to truly put it. I hated the ending! (but I thank Kanney for all her fabulous movie links/playlists) Nether less it is worth a watch if you don't easily cry. 3/5.

The cover art is terrible and makes it look like a dry Masterpiece Theatre flick or a stuffy documentary. This movie holds an emotional potency similar to The Piano and/or Heavenly Creatures, with the same dreamy, eerie, childlike sociopathic undertone as Heavenly Creatures. If the film had cashed in its chips at the carriage scene, it would've easily become one of my favorite films - twisted and bittersweet. But in the final\moments that followed, it made up its mind to be a very different sort of story. A good ending, but not one I liked as well.

The child actors were really good. But this is a very disturbing and almost borderline misogynous look at an all female boarding school.

This movie is not what I had expected. One word to describe it is "DISTURBING". Surely not for the faint-hearted. 3/5

That movie was really amazing. All those girls being treated horribly and how they end up either dead or humilated. The story was very good, the acting was very good as well. I enjoyed it.
