wish it was the old version, i hate the re-done version. CGI crap everywhere bah!

Younger me favoured this movie the most out of the three films. I'm guessing because of the Ewoks and triumphing ending but now that I've re watched a dozen times, I realise it's actually the weakest of the three. I always find myself daydreaming whenever something is going down on Endor. I mustn't mince words though because it is still a fantastic addition to the trilogy.

When you can watch a Sci-fi movie made in 1983 in 2013 and still feel engaged and entertained, that simply spells 'Legendary'. 9.5/10

My favourite of the three. Just because of the Luke/Vader interaction and the way their characters developed in this one.

love these movies, star wars is the best trilogy ever!! but of course they had to bring hayden christensen into the end just to remind of the accursed prequel trilogy -_- but definitely the perfect end to a perfect trilogy!! until disney came along and decided to ruin it all!!!!!!

I love the trilogy, but could not stand the new episodes. Disappointed to see Hayden Christensen at the end.

It was excellent, this was my first time watching the series and I loved it. I always knew a lot about star wars from the references in modern culture but I never watched the movies until now. I watched all 6 episodes and they got better and better and I'm glad to say I have watched Star Wars. 10/10 for the whole series.

Amazing movie. It seems to get better as time goes on.

Odd to say but I find this film to be massively underrated. Sure, the Special Edition absolutely *murders* the Jabba's Palace sequence - to my eternal sadness - but moving past that, this is a fitting end to the trilogy. Mark Hamill is revealed as the glue that holds the entire series together. His plaintive reaction to Yoda's death (really, just a puppet when you think about it) is transcendent in the sci-fi genre.

Wow, I think I'm the only person who actually liked the Ewoks. Jedi is my fav of the whole series, even with the digitally remastered parts :) I wonder if the 3rd trilogy will ever see the light of day? ...

This movie is sacred to me. It was like one of the main pentacles of childhood and its still beautiful. Some kooks will gripe about how they didn't like the puppets or whatever; or the digital re-do but I still look at it like a magic time in my life when things were better.

i cant stand when people leave comments that are completely wrong.. before doing that, educate yourself with the facts otherwise you sound like the ASS that you truly are. Where in the world would you get the idea that this is a remake of the first one??? This is PART 6 of the series. They released it out of order and then made the first 3 later on to show the characters when they were younger. WOW. Are you also aware that 2 +2 =4???

It'd be hard to find a more consummately evil bad guy than this Emperor. His acting is astonishingly well done. Bad guys are common enough, but are much more blatant, usually without the kind of quiet, subtle, yet vitally potent, evil of this one. He is radiantly evil.

Greatest films ever made. It's great that you can see the influences of the time it was made in. I have watched these films over 5 times now, I still see new details in every film and my respect grows every time I watch it. I think I am safe to say I'll love this film forever.
