Well, I called it quits 20 minutes in when they literally showed a dude take a dump in the forest.

My favorite scene they were cutting trees down with a steel ax (not iron), and a camera man steps into view to avoid being hit....I killed 12 beers to get through this movie....save yourself the waste of time.

I've finished the first part and I don't hate it as much as others did, but it's certainly no cinematic feat. If your a fan of black metal and like vikings walking in woods then you may enjoy it. Be warned there is some animal cruelty

If you pretend the cameraman is a zombie hipster with a broken neck making a documentary for his high school history class it makes complete sense.

If you're like me with a rather short attention span pass on this one, unless you could use some sleep. I didn't make it to part 2 and don't think I will.

Well its almost certain that continent of America was visited by others long before Columbus time, but that discovery was not widespread and journey was certainly too perilous to really make any difference. All that aside this 'movie' is utter amateurish pile of crap, dont waste your time.

I rented this movie a while ago because it was an awesome concept for a movie--vikings set to black metal, how can it be bad? Well, it was bad because there was barely any black metal except in a handful of spots, the rest of the movie is two dudes wandering around a forest doing absolutely nothing, until they find a monk, and then more nothing happens. There's also a scene (not faked, mind you) where they zoom in on one of the character's asses while he takes a very long shit. Stay away from this one if you don't want to be bored out of your mind while being simultaneously confused as to how someone could make a film this awful.

Why on earth did they choose to strap a camera to a persons head to film it... In fact I honestly found it annoying. Would have been a lot better if they filmed it normally to see more of the surroundings and the main characters ~ I skipped through this film because of that, think ill pass this time, but thanks all the same for uploading it.

This is just a lie based on the Kensington stone, which was a hoax. Do you really think that two survivors running for their lives would just stop for the month it would take to carve those runes?
