my second favourite godzilla film behind giant monsters all out attack . yeah the effects are rubbish and the acting is ropey , but as i was brought up on doctor who , blakes 7 and thunderbirds i can look past all that and enjoy the story.

loved monster movies since I was a kid and this one doesn't disappoint. quite the all-star roster of monsters.

It would have been a real good movie, if the picture quality wasn't so bad. We need better quality links. Please. I would like to watch this again.

A wonderful 50th Birthday Celebration of Godzilla films. To date this is the 28th(longest running movie series in film History)and last film made so far. This film features many other giant monsters(like Destroy All Monsters) the big G has to square off agaisnt in K.O. fight scenes as well as an alien race bent on destroying Humanity. This Movie MOVES at such a break-neck speed and has one of those unforgettable villians(the kind you hate to see go down)That you will groove on it even if you are not a fan.Oh and yeah American Godzilla is in this(called Zilla) and faces the real deal G to the death.A Fantasy Funhouse of Destruction,Fight scenes(between Humans and Monsters)and Kinetic energy.5/5 Not to be missed if you are a fan of Gojira/Godzilla films. The Best Yet.One for your favorites List.

I actually didnt like it much. There was too much deus ex machina. Especially with the protagonist. Also didnt like that mothra only got like less than a minute of screen time. And I dont know what the point of the 2 fairy things telling him about mothra choosing sides to save the world, and being able to control Gigan. And I feel they couldve done alot better with Minyas suit. Also the american was really bad actor. And his script was way too cheesy. I liked the villain though, he had an awesome evil laugh. 6/10 there are way better godzilla movies. Also funny how they poked fun at 98 godzilla and independence day.

I have to say that I did not like this one bit. I've been a Godzilla fan for most of my life and there have been some good ones and there have been some bad ones but of all of them the only two I can honestly say I didn't like in any capacity were this one and the crappy American remake from 1998. While there are lots of reasons I don't like this one I will only mention this one MAJOR problem I had with it. In all of his other movies, he battles these other monsters one on one, two on one or other similar odds and the fights last for a good while. In this movie he goes through those monsters like he was fighting a bunch of girl scouts. One shot of his breath took out Gigan? Really?
