I don't write many reviews and am picky about movies. That said, I absolutely love Minority Report and can't intelligently explain why. It's not Cruise, though I don't dislike him. I suppose this is just the ultimate sci-fi thriller. It has atmosphere, love, loss, family, controversial technology & bio-tech, crime, crazy suspense & mystery, & hope. You have to pay attention & maybe rewind a few times (lol!) but it's not cerebral beyond understanding. I don't re-watch a lot of films but have enjoyed seeing this several times. Wish there were more movies like this! (Any recommendations?:)

Excellent movie - well made, well acted, well paced and a good story (one of Phillip K Dick's so of course it is!). I've just done a re-watch of this after many years and enjoyed it just as much now as I did when I first saw it. If you haven't seen this one and you like a well paced action/thriller with a very interesting story, I'd highly recommend this one, even if you're not a great sci fi fan. The subject matter is fascinating and the possibility of this is not so very far fetched and, if you are so inclined, gives one a bit of philosophical food for thought without preaching. You don't have to go down that road to enjoy this highly entertaining movie, though - it's a corker of a flick!

Cruise just never fails to turn in the best of entertaining performances. The cautionary tale, ''Minority Report'' does need the viewer to pay attention, but the payoff is worth it. I'd say this one is 4.5 of 5 Milk Duds.

The movie has a good Hitchcockian feel to it, especially the ending. And the music also had that Hitchcock feel. I don't like Tom Cruise but the movie is great. Mystery. Sci-Fi. Enjoy.

Great acting, buildup and action all through in just the right amounts...awesome costumes and effects....great direction of so many scenes. Shows why just a certain angle or the way shadows are cast can make a movie from junk into amazing.

I overheard two friends mumbling something about this film in passing two days ago and before I listened further I decided that I would see it. Definitely, something to see.

I had seen this film before, forgot about it for some reason, then on a radio talk-show I was reminded about the film again. I watched it again and recalled seeing it before. This is one of those film I had forgotten the name of and had to be reminded. The talk-show was about a real life version of the film Minority Report which is a subject of fascination to me. The movie Minority Report is a very important film - one everyone should watch. Could we actually stop a crime before it is committed? Is a wo/man guilty when they have not actually committed a crime? Is thinking about harming someone an act of crime when they are only thinking about it? What if a person was planning on committing a crime but changes their mind - are they still guilty? (More questions come to my mind but I will spare you from them.) The idea of a crime-free society has been around for who knows how many centuries... and the movie Minority Report is about the very subject! Chose your side: 1) A crime-free society where everyone's private thoughts (including your own) are known to the police - all your thoughts! OR 2)A society where their is crime but you and everyone else will keep all of their thoughts private unless they choose to tell someone or act upon them. This is a must not miss film!! The film maybe a real life future for our society. 10/10

Minority Report and Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol are my favorite Tom Cruise movies...BUT I did like Magnolia and have heard Rock of Ages is pretty good. Wait a minute; I forgot Rainman, Color of Money and Vanilla Sky!! Hmmm. Now that I've had time to consider, I REALLY think my favorites are Interview with the Vampire and Tropic Thunder. Yeah, those ones.
