For such a beautiful movie with excellent acting how dumb is it to post a film with half of it spoken in French and not have subtitles. Must we endure these types of postings and never really understand what is happening.

as good as tom hanks is, as good as this film is i just think the great sir ian mckellen shows whos the boss in this, he really does act mr hanks off the screen. truly one of the finest actors of this or any other generation for that matter. he is brilliant in whatever he does. i think any film hes in is worth watchin just to see the real class on screen. i give this film 9/10. a really good story, well acted, well produced, well shot. a all round good mystery thriller.

I'll always love this movie, as I have also loved the book. Sure there a few things off, but it can't be an exact replica. The only thing I didn't like that was changed was something slightly different towards the end. But the final scene, with the climactic music, perfection. Makes you think, which is always great in a movie. 9/10

I LOVE this movie. I love the puzzles, the surprises, the mystery. and i love the ending. My only comment is that i had heard when it first came out that the author stated the story was fiction, but the information about the artwork was all true. In fact, it is not true and vastly speculation. Most art historians, including myself, will disagree with the artwork analysis.

I read the book 'Holy Blood Holy Grail' which Dan Brown borrowed heavily from to make this fiction. I also read 'The Davinci Code' but I have not seen the movie till now. I was not disappointed! They did one hell of a job at bringing this tale to life. Tom Hanks was superb as always and the many plot twists and turns reminded me of 'National Treasure' this movie was a great adaptation of the legendary quest for the Holy Grail.

Great film love how it explores the foundation of christanity with the Holy Grail being in the form of a bloodline suprise ending which i thought it needed worth a watch (try seeing it on dvd because there are no subtitles in the putlocker links and half the film nearly is in french).

I agree with mojo56. I've heard from more then one source that Jesus and Mary were married but is it true? Who knows. Jesus was God's son, but still a man while here on earth, so maybe it's possible. It doesn't bother me if it's true. I believe in God, Jesus, and church (and what I was/am taught in church)and no movie is gonna change that. Having said that, I thought this was a really good movie with a what-if story line. Superb acting by Tom Hanks, and directing by Ron Howard. I give this movie 4.5/5.
