Amanda Plummer does an amazing job! i cannot imagine that role was easy to pull off, but both actresses are incredible. they make the story interesting. i actually cried in the end.. i didn't expect it.

I didnt know this film existed until recently & im glad i stumbled across it. It's a tragic lesbian love story, with a massive dose of mental illness thrown into the mix and a few dead bodies along the way, i really enjoyed it and the end got me, so sad defo worth a watch 7/10

Director Michael Winterbottom's feature film debut, is an enigmatic psychological thriller-drama of a lesbian schizophrenic serial killer and a very impressionable woman, cashier of a gas station and condemned to take care of her mother. This film is shocking, disturbing, depressing and almost unforgivable if it wasn't for the extraordinary and powerful performances by actress Amanda Plummer and Saskia Reeves. In my opinion , only those with intellectual curiosity and the forgotten in the mainstream of Hollywood shallowness, can appreciate this. Like me.

I don't know what to say of this film, but I will give reason for it's lack of stars for me. It is difficult to understand the plot. Two disturbed individuals meet and there are murders, following some odd love story between the two. Not to give away the ending but this is a sad, weird, and unusual film.
