Good movie and being a writer and familiar with Anais this was great to watch. A bit melodramatic is some areas but very interesting none the less. The acting was great and Thurman was very sexy. Makes me want to read D. H. Lawrence again.

Like, but not because it's a good audiovisual work, but because it's about Henry Miller, whose Tropic of Cancer really hit me when I was 18. Script could have been better, although it was difficult because it had to mix the voice of 2 writers. I didn't like the acting, probably it was just a lack of direction by Kaufman. Soundtrack was great with Stravinsky, Debussy, Satie, Piaf... 6/10. (((To know Henry Miller's real face & voice & wit, check out the bathroom monologue: http://youtu.be/4vgY--BpGIw :: doesn't it say more?
