When I watch this movie, I get mad that the incompetent people sitting at the Oscar's committee can't yet give Leo the credit he deserves from being one of the most respectable, consistent, talented, committed actors that I've ever seen. As always, an excellent performance by Leo and Cate, as well as Martin's gift of always creating pure art. Must watch!

I fell in love Leonardo's role. He was amazing and so was Cate Blanchett. Also liked seeing Gwen Stefani. That was a fantastic told story about Howard Hughes from Martin Scorsese. If anything watch for the old time era. I thought they did a wonderful job. Great cast and director makes for a brilliant movie.

I Know This Film won a couple of awards when it was at oscar night in 05 but really it should have won about 12 awards it is a movie ive watched 8times and still its amazing!!! Great acting great Photoghrapy and i just wish scorsese had made it 2 hours longer. Howard HUGHES was a genius a mad man and a ladys man he courted some of the most beautiful screen starlets of the 30s,40s,50s, I for one say Leo done a great job playing Howard.

I had a fancy to watch this again. I didn't remember any of it at all so it was like seeing it for the first time. Leonardo Dicaprio is flawlessly perfect as usual. I was with him all the way on this fascinating, and harrowing journey through the genius mind of Howard Hughes. The action scenes are worthy of an Oscar on their own. It was refreshing to see people running around with pen and paper, relying on good old-fashioned mechanics. The costumes, the cars, the music of a bygone era are worked beautifully into the story. There's a cameo from a famous British actor and superb acting from second role characters that give the film true depth. 7/10 only because I got a bit lost with some of the technical details..

Why did it take me so long to watch this incredible movie? the answer is simple. It's because it's 3 bloody hours long. Great movie and I wish I had watched it sooner. In truth it has been on my to watch list since it came out and I knew it would be a great movie. Every time I thought to watch it I looked at how long it was and decided I didn't have the time. I would forget about it until searching through my to watch lists and again want to watch it and realize I once again didn't have the time. Great movie that drew me in and didn't let me go until the end credits rolled.

A masterpiece directed by Martin Scorsese, amazing performances by Leonardo DiCaprio and Cate Blanchett as well as by the supporting cast. The script about Howard Hughes' career was brilliant...A must watch even though it was a very long movie... 10/10

This movie is more than 2hours and 40mins but it wasn't boring and draggy at all.Absolutely great story with a masterful direction from Scorsece and amazing acting from Dicaprio and Cate Blanchett. There are a lot other actor and actresses in the movie but the two of them shine out as the best. Dicaprio was really believable as Howard Hughes and it's hard to think of any other actor in his place. Cate Blanchett's acting was bold and also charming at he same time. Well deserved her Oscar win. The movie itself was inspiring but also sad at times. nVisually stunning too. Great camera work. I think Scorsece should have won his Oscar as this is one of his best. Hard to make a biography movie this good.

Beautiful period drama/biopic about Hughes, as well as a commentary on the line between genius and insanity: even the most accomplished people, the most brilliant minds can succumb to madness. 10/10

This undoubtedly is the movie Scorsese set out to make, and he made it exceedingly well. Still, we can fault him for choosing to celebrate its subject instead of examining him.

Why did I wait so long to see this movie?! A must see. Great performances from an all star cast. Howard Hughes...brilliant man but so tragically tortured.
