Paradise Lost The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills: Berlinger and Sinofsky's documentary of a gruesome triple murder in West Memphis, Arkansas and the subsequent trials of three suspects, takes a hard look at both the occult and the American justice system in 'small-town' America. Three teenagers are accused of this horrific crime of killing three children, supposedly as a result of involvement in Satanism. As in their previous documentary, things turn out to be more complex than initial appearances and this film presents the real-life courtroom drama to the viewer, as it unfolds.

Interesting documentary and such a sad story of these 3 kids. From what I have seen (the movie and these documentaries) and what I have noticed is that there is NO evidence in this case that these 3 kids did anything wrong. And to not put it lightly in saying the least that a county police officer 'lost' evidence? And he testified to it in court? Are you kidding me? That right there is a conspiracy on the kids itself. They should have had him fired the moment they found that out. Goes to show how different systems in different counties/states work.

Really interesting documentary. Seen all of them and its worth your time for a full 100%. This just shows how prejudgeable they were back then with such little evidence. The thing is that these boys wont get all those years back they've spend in prison. How sad.

I have case studied this trial and If you really think at the end of it any of these boys are guilty I pray to god you're not allowed on jury service! Even the families of the victims agree it wasn't these boys.

Great documentary, it just sucks that those boys had to endure 17 years for a crime which they did not commit.

Ok these boys are innocent. I follow Damien daily. Someone strong enough to deal with being put in prison for 18 years over something that he did not do. Damien Jessie and Jason did not do it. Jessie was a bit on the mental side thats how they got a FASLE confession out of the poor boy.

Watched all three of these over the weekend. I never saw them really produce any evidence against them, except drilling the one guy until he told them what they wanted to hear or that's the way I took it. Good documentary 4/5

i think its rather ignorant, arrogant and naive to assume that everyone watching this documentary and/or believe in the boys' innocence and/or disagree w/you are somehow less educated than yourself...NEWS FLASH* surprisingly a good number of people have the ability to form their own opinions (made in their very own brains) and just because it doesnt fit in w/ your beliefs doesnt make them WRONG or SHEEP, no matter the subcontext.

I always liked this documentaries. It is good that they are finally free even though they had to admit guilt while maintaining there innocence through the Alfred plea There's a new one in the works called Paradise lost Purgatory cant wait for that one I rate this a 4/5

this is defo worth watching, it just goes to show how easy you can be convicyed of a crime you havent done. That saying inocent till proven guilty has been reversed for many years now and are rights as citezens are slowly getting taken away.

Thumbs up if Morgan Spurlock sent you here. Lol, jk I'm already at 100%, baby! Hmmm... I still don't understand the evidence they had for the arrest. But makes me wonder about a justice system that has you put your hand on a bible and another in the air so you can't cross your fingers.

HBO has played everyone into thinking these boys are innocent. Do real research on this case and it will show HBO is lying about why they were charged and what evidence they did have among many confessions.(you can listen to the real confessions online, not the pieced up HBO police hate ones)HBO leaves out all evidence against them, and acts like they need to find leads on some mythical killer or killers that arent out there. These 3 boys killed the other 3 much younger boys.

As usual just a bunch of sheep believing in something because it's in a film. If any of you ever took the time to read the actual case files, about Jessie Misskelley's more than 6 confessions(one that took place after he was convicted and in the presence of his attorney Daniel Stidham who repeatedly advised him not to say anything), Damien Echols' 18 months in and out of mental institutions for homicidal, suicidal, sociopathic, and manic depressive behavior prior to the murders. Stop listening to filmmakers and celebrities.
