Only one word describes this movie - Amazing and Sad. Describes the difficult life of the inmates in British Borstal in the old days. 9/10. A Classic.

This film potrayed a youth incarceration system that just didnt work, Corruption and brutality ran amok and several years later the Borstal system was torn down and made way for prison reforms regarding youngsters in the UK. Classic film and still as hard hitting as it was back then. 8/10

This movie was sad and cruel hate ignorancy all the "best"things of human nature...my rating 3,8/5..crime and punishment but for adults no for such children..system sucks for sure

Classic film. Ray Winstone is a wonderful actor. Kind of a sad movie. A must see.

This came way before Sean Penn's Bad Boys. Ending was a let down. Both were good for their time. Check them out daddy....
