This series of Puppet Master is off putting jumps around story plot so much to gather an audience which it did buy means of VHS box Covers as high end as they could said by creator of the puppet master movies don't forget this series had to compete with Fred Kruger and Friday the 13th series at the time.Alot of crappy but classic fillers were made like silent night holy night which is good to but also jumped around story plot but got better because of angry parents giving it hype at the time. All these movies were big on gimmick trying to gain profit of the horror genre. I like some of the series but don't respect how they trued to collect on a true horror fan directors none the less its the real old school special effects guys i give credit to make these films pop to further there own careers in doing what they love. like Sam Ramini to make a great horror flick it takes a good director and effects and visual arts guys & girls to succeed,in my opinion anyway.

I enjoyed this one, however, you can't count on the puppets to do what's right. If they see you, they'll kill you and I'm not exactly sure why. I'm not even sure if that psycho was the loveable and caring Toulon, this one merely wanted a woman and the puppets were tools rather than friends.

This movie is a disgrace to the series. Please watch all the films, you'll see what I mean. Why I hate this film: Ruined the characters (The puppets are not evil n' neither is The Puppet Master. This movie made them seem like mindless killers. But if you watch the rest of the films you'll see these creatures can think and feel like we do. They even care and protect others! SPOILERS! They are the souls of people who were wronged by Nazi's and were given a second chance at revenge and happiness thanks to the puppet master.) Soap opera camera (The camera used in this film hurt my head. It seemed cheap and dinky like soap opera camera.) Terrible stop motion (The stop motion seemed rushed. You can also seee the frames if you slow down the film.) Horrible plot (The plot doesn't fit the overall story in the slightest. It ruins the characters, makes a good man utterly insane. Made the main characters look really stupid and stereotypical and the script was BAD! Not to mention the acting..... ) But some good did come from this film. The ooze starts playing a larger roll. More time is spent now on their background story and defining the Puppet Masters character. There're some other things too that I can't remember at the moment. But it starts having patterns after the second one on. But overall I feel this movie is very misplaced. The Puppet Master series is the best bunch of movies I've ever seen. But this one is nothing compared to its siblings.

Those creepy puppets are back this time collecting brain fluid in order that they might once again play as Andre Toulon's stringless Marionettes. This is a classic bit of 90's horror and a horror fans education isn't complete untill they've seen the Puppet Master series,7/10.
