Awesome film! The first time I saw it I didn't know what to think, the second time I laughed! Poelvoorde is so good in playing that arrogant psycho that it took me a while to see him otherwise! Loved that movie so much I have a dog called "gamin" in reference to the kid in the woods.

Deplorable plot, but the movie has its high points. The acting is superb, one gets the very palpable feeling that you are actually watching a psychopath go about his daily rounds- not like some found footage where over/under-acting gets in the way. The only downside is that it drags for long stretches, long enough to ask yourself WHY you would watch something like this. It's like a train wreck, awful stuff's happening, but you can't look away... 4/5 for the acting, 2/5 for content

You do need to have a dark sense of humour to watch this film. Filmed as a documentary it feels like quite a realistic view of life from a psychopathic serial killers point of view. Dark, at times very funny and others uncomfortably funny and a few not all that funny scenes at all, another cult classic everyone should see at least once

documentary style... it really makes you wonder if it is for real black and white to make it more dramatic humorously dark, or darkly humorous rather...

Amazing film.. not for everyone but a brilliantly darkly funny 'documentary' following the daily routines of a serial killer.. some truly disturbing scenes.. but one of my faves.. 9/10

Quite extraordinary. Almost like the german film M turned up several notches. A bit graphic.

Disturbing myself with some of the films I have enjoyed lately, but I thought this was funny, I loved his observations, and his nonchalance. It's a cheeky light-hearted, french version of American Psycho shot documentary style. Fun watch!

Very original film, done in a really unique style. Great performances, especially from the lead actor. A very disturbing look at a serial killer. If you like this I recommend Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer.

A refreshing performance following the antics of a serial killer in this spoof documentary that is guaranteed to shock, horrify and smile.

This is a great film. I dig it anyway. The subtitles get old but it's hard to walk away from. 3.5/5
