I had no idea that "Fistul of Dollars" and this one were related in the sense that Eastwood plays the same character in both movies, the man with no name (although i am pretty sure i heard the undertaker in Fistful of Dollars address him as "Joe" at one point..) and now i am going to watch "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly" which supposedly is the third and last installment of this specific franchise where Eastwood portrays this mysterious protagonist. I have never seen this movie and the previous one until today and i am so happy that i finally got too...i have only seen parts of the next movie but never as a whole and after watching the previous two, i am looking forward to it! I do know that this movie and the previous were spaghetti westerns but the third is when Eastwood made the jump to American cinema with Westerns and was filmed in the US as well. These are awesome movies but my alltime fave is "The Outlaw Josey Wales" which literally has everything, comedy, gun fights, suspense, Crazy old indians and crotchety old ladies lol...i think i will watch that later tonight. 10/10 all the way for these movies!

The soundtrack is just phenomenal Ennio Morricone knows how to score a movie I tell you that! It was a good movie with some good performances, I really liked the bad guy in this one because he wasn't just a random bad guy however his laugh did annoy me:L 6.6/10 Lee Van Cleef was brilliant as The Colonel, I like how they gave him a back story instead just introducing him as a new bounty hunter. It made me like and care about the character, in his first scene I was thinking Oh I cant wait for him and Clint Eastwood encounter each other. Clint Eastwood was obviously good:) Although did they not have squibs back in the 1960's because I always notice that when people get shot they never have any blood on them or any bullet holes:/ I'm not sure which one I liked more, this or the first one as I have yet to see the third. I do think they dragged the story a little, the run time of the movie should of been 1 hour 40 minutes instead of 2 hours 10 minutes I feel:D and I have just realized that the bad guy in this also had a role in the first movie, I thought he looked familiar haha.

One of my favourite spaghetti westerns with a memorable soundtrack. Lee and Clint at their gunslinging best. If you haven't watched this you haven't lived. :)

Leone after the success of 'fistful' worked on a much bigger canvas on this picture and discovered his voice. The use of extreme closeup and perspective shot, the majestic use of music and the comradeship of men. Casting of Lee Van Cleef was most inspired and reinvented his career the way the previous film did for Eastwood. Many classic sequences especially the final shoot out. Highly influential

Great movie. Clint Eastwood is always amazing! This wasn't as good as The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, but it was still very good. Had some great action. This is worth seeing.

Not as good as The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, but still a great spagetti western! Clint Eastwood was great, and the plot was great, everything about it was great! Highly recommended to all you western fans out there!
