I love the little disclaimer at the end telling you not to spoil it for your friends

Wow. That was a very good movie. I really enjoyed this. I haven't seen the remake so I can't tell you how they compare. This had amazing acting and a great storyline. MUST SEE!

THIS IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE REMAKE. Do yourself a favour and see this one before you see the Sharon Stone 1990s remake. This stood the test of time, that version did not. (If you like Depeche Mode videos, the original version of this movie will remind you of just about every video from the Black Celebration album. All those head scarves, sunglasses, mopeds, and the whole sleek Euro 50s look was incorporated into their vids, and I am sure the impetus for the vids came from Les Diaboliques and movies like it.)
