This is a classic movie, which is a must for fans of Alfred Hitchc0ck and for those who aren't. Considered by the great man to be one of his most experimental films as each shot ran continuously for eight minutes without interruption. Interestingly some consider the film to be of a homoerotic nature viz the relationship between the two protagonists although this is never indicated on screen. 8.9/10.

Hitchcock fans - Do not miss this little-shown gem. Based in a single set and shot with artistry against great technical difficulty, this suspenseful tale gave me the wry impression at times of Oscar Wilde in it's social commentary. Putting my pretentious thoughts aside though, it's a great and highly under-rated thriller. 9/10

Though the ending was too preachy for my liking, I found this an enjoyable satire on intellectual elitism

Bizarre - I just watched this movie yesterday, and today I find out Farley Granger died on Sunday 27th March. RIP Farley Granger (1925 - 2011). Catch another worthy performance in 'Strangers on a Train'.

Great Hitchcock movie. I think Vertigo, North by Northwest, Rear window, and Psycho are better than this one but that shouldn't take anything away from this movie. It's a must watch for any Hitchcock fan and it will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole way through. I's give it a 8/10.
