This was a wonderful movie. The acting was amazing, the storyline was amazing. This was just great!! Very sad and disturbing storyline though. Still worth seeing.

This is the kind of love story we don't see enough of in our culture. The kind of solidness, and depth, and purity...beaten up by a morbid and careless, forget about evil, world pressing in on all sides. The majority of women watching this will not have had been sold out by their mothers as prostitutes at the impressionable age of nine, but many will relate to that uncle who wanted to "wash" them "there", and though they will not have been stigmatized by a sadistic world as if they had been sex slaves by choice, many will identify with the converse reality---the little girl who tells is stigmatized as a liar for such vicious fantasies, and promptly ostracized by family and kin. Was the ending in this stunner open ended?
