An endearing, heartfelt film which contains a psychologically acute portrayal of a perky and single-minded ten-year-old girl. I loved how the relationship between the sisters felt so true. Needless to say that, as always with a Ghibli film, it is visually stunning.

This Ghibli was alright, but I don't think I'll be back to watch it again. It was a great story and all, but it's just not my kind of movie.

It's an okay movie; it had it's funny bits, sweet bits and boring bits...at times it felt like the story dragged on. I think I even fell asleep but I made sure I saw it all. 6/10

I promised myself that I wouldn't cry at a studio ghibli film again. This film made me cry 3 times. It's amazing and the end is so so so beautiful! <3

That was a fantastic movie, wouldn't expect less from studio ghibli, 10/10. Dont switch off thinking the film is over when she gets on the train, it continues a little during the end credits song.

Even though it is a happy ending, some how it brought tears to my eyes when all her childhood memories came flooding at the end... Studio Ghibli sure knows how to bring life through mere animations...
