This is why Beslan happened: Chechnya: The Dirty War -- Dispatches, The Assassination of Russia (2002), both documentaries you will find on Youtube. Also very heartbreaking and sad, even makes you feel powerless. These three together is like a jigsaw and the imagine you get is the real evil. Very good documentary, disturbing to watch, ordeal for people involved. I had nightmares after that.

This was extremely sad. Seeing the shots of childrens bodies heaped upon each other is hard to forget. What a terrible thing for those poor people who just wanted to celebrate the first day of school to experience.

''There is no God, only force. Military force'' from the lips of a child profound truth, that is the legacy of terrorism. Very good, and heart breaking to hear is from the perspective of a child. 5/5

This documentary is heartbreaking and so painful to watch. The chaos and fear that these poor people felt is just so sad. It is a good doc. but still hard to watch.

It hurt to watch this, I myself have 2 girls, one that goes to school and one that doesn't...so I can't imagine what its like to be in that situation...this documentary made me sob, to see the pain in the faces of the people outside wanting to get to their children, to see the children suffering, to see the anguish among everyone, and the helplessness of those who wanted to go for it. It was so intense and I recommend you have a box of tissues because you will need it. The first thing I did after watching this was hug and kiss my girls, you can't take life and love for granted. This makes you appreciate those in your life. Very good documentary, best I have seen so far. R.I.P children, teachers, parents, soldiers, and everyone else :(

Unimaginable... except you don't have to imagine it because it is happening right in front of your eyes.
