this was hard to watch but so powerful. it makes me thankful for the education I've received and understanding of those like my grandparents who could pursue it. It goes to show that we can never stop growing.

I just love when I accidentally come across a movie which turns out to be better than most overly rated/marketed movies and blows me away, it happens so rarely, this movie had my whole attention from start to finish it really deserves more attention, so inspirational and motivating 10/10

This film is amazing and powerful. This true story invites the tears, the anguish, and the power to want to do something to your life, using the past as a tool for the future. This is an amazing document that one should not pass up. Cheers to this man and the power he had to introduce education at no cost and no age.

A good film. Pretty inspiring stuff. Some of it was difficult to watch but I guess thats what makes it so real and emotional. The old man was a great actor and of course so was Harris. I did feel like the film started to lose some steam at the half way point but it picked it back up for the last chapter. You should def give it a try. A 8/10 for me.

I love this movie. An old man, determined to learn to go to school, so he can learn to read a letter he's had for a long time. The flashbacks to his youth just show how much he's gone through to become the man who perseveres in spite of obstacles. Wonderful, Inspiring, and totally going on my Favorites list!

loved it, very good and inspirational. it's so sad what mistreatment some of the older ones of our generation (worldwide) have gone through and still get treated like without respect is a slap in the face.
