I just finished this today and I'm gonna miss it. I love the way it ended though, one of the best wrap ups to a show that I've seen. Most shows try to end too dramatically and end up really ruining the show, but The Office stayed very true to the story and characters. They were able to give each character closure, and I was really happy to see Michael come back for the finale - even though he barely spoke. I have to admit, Jim and Pam was my favorite story.

I just finished the show today and I loved it. I wish I had watched it while it aired on TV. Even though you can see the decline in it after Michael left, it still was funny. It was a little sad to see Michael leave, then finally 'say' goodbye to the rest but they did a good job wrapping everything up.

Man I miss this show.. I remember when they aired the show on myspace and watching it there. After that I never missed an episode. The show did go down after Michael Scott left.

Ok well I'm british and this version of the office its just amazing.I don't find the british one at all funny. The good thing about this version is its not a one man show.all the characters are funny and the storylines are great love trying to keep up with michael's Shenanigans!

I don't like how things are going in Season 9. I don't even like how they are doing to the characters of Jim/Pam and Andy/Erin; the writers has turned the entire characters upside down. Erin has just turned into a slut, Andy a super douchebag, Jim into a inconsiderate husband, and Pam into a clumsy wife.

The show had to stop production in November 2007 because of a writer's strike. The show's star Steve Carell (himself a WGA member) supported the writers, and refused to cross the picket lines even for non-writing duties. Carell went so far as to call in sick to the network on the first day of the strike, citing a case of "enlarged balls" as the reason he couldn't come in.
