It kind of annoyed me how fast the Doctor flipped on that. He built up the issue a lot more than what was needed then when he found out he was wrong he magically flipped. I get it though, that is actually what happens whenever there is a situation like this. People get news blow it out of proportion and then find out the truth and pretend like what they did never happened. I liked the episode though. I like how much it showed how our personal bias can really affect how we see a situation and have massive implications.

This made me incredibly angry; the way Seven was treated, the way the creators of Stark Trek basically just discounted all the experiences of survivors to make a point. Just to clarify the number of false reports for most crimes of this nature (and we know what Voyager were pointing towards here) is incredibly low and much lower than false reports of any other crime. I really don't appreciate Voyager adding to this myth. Whilst this story might have played out as it did, they didn't need to portray Seven as a liar, because she wasn't lying; and in terms of the wider implications introduced by the writers, it was just horrible. Poor episode, poor conclusions bad social implications.

This episode can you really make you think....how many people in our "justice" system have been falsely accused imprisoned and even killed because of that accusation? remorse and guilt should be a symptom of such a horrible act...and it will let us know that there is always a glitter of hope for humanity! 5/5
