Great, great, just great episode and outstanding performance by Daniel Davis.

I am afraid I cannot agree with the previous comment, although I am not entirely disappointed with this episode. A testament to hubris, in part, demonstrating the ease with which it is possible to corrupt an original premise with adolescent exaggeration; the plot sets up several interesting directions, only to come crashing to a halt prematurely, paralleling Data's own brisk precis. My main disappointment, however, is with the childish attempt at a Cockney accent. Not since Dick Van Dyke, for whom I have the greatest respect, has such an attempt been seen to fail so spectacularly. It would have been far more sensible to do the whole thing with native (to the actors) accents than to spoil this series with a "Cor, blimey, guvnor" pastiche. Leave the British to Mr. Stewart.
