I grew up watching this show. The first episode I ever saw was Plato's Stepchildren, in 1975. It is because of Star Trek that I was sitting in the front row in 1976 watching Star Wars, which of course led to BSG:TOS, which led inevitably to Erin Grey in that white leotard uniform. Star Trek RULES.

Never took an interest in this when I was younger or any other star trek. But after watching 'The Big Bang Theory' going on about star trek all the time, I decided to give it a bash. Its so cheesy and the effects are terrible but I think that's part of what makes it so watchable. infact i'm pretty hooked. With all the new Star Treks to go, its probably gonna take me a very long time to get through all of this stuff. I'm still laughing at that silly Gorn creature.

STAR TREK TOS is the best tv show in the world. Nobody has ever managed to create a more philosophical and profound tv show that would be at least equal to it. Watch it and let your kids watch it too. STAR TREK was and will always will be a timeless masterpiece.

My dad used to drive me nuts watching this all the time when I was a child, as I grew up I realised why he was so hooked. A brilliant classic which I thoroughly enjoy.

In case anyone is wondering, most (I've watched a few episodes), if not all, of these are from the digitally remastered collection. All the music has been redone, along with enhanced special visual effects and sound. The prints have been cleaned up and recolored. The result is a superb viewing experience. I've enjoyed watching these digitally remastered episodes. It's like watching Star Trek for the first time all over again.

I remember watching Star Trek TOS when growing up in central Florida in the 60's. With Apollo missions going off over the horizon, I got a sense of futuristic wonder from an early age. With this as my only qualification for commenting on this series, I have to give this an "A" for effort and an "A++" for vision, but a "C-" for not using the name to generate the funding needed to keep series alive in ratings. This is true for both the original series and this fan-made remake. Dave Adam

Over twice as old as me... Yet very cool show indeed... I watched some of these on TV before the Star Trek movie... Wonder if the actors had any idea how popular their show would be while making it...

10/10. You either know that Star Trek is the greatest vision of human potential, achievement and prosperity or you haven't seen the show. It all starts here!

This is a great series to watch, especially after watching this for the first time ever in my life as a 20 year old. Not bad and hopefully I don't turn into a geek or something.

Thank to the ones that shared, this show/s are/were/and will be inspired by real life and real life was inspired by it. The synergy of rod vision and creativity has forever created many a generation of geeks and nerd, and that is a good thing again Thanks for all who shared Now Im off to spend many hours of my life watching the story telling :) WOOT!!!!!

I'm ashamed to say it but I've actually never seen one episode of Star Trek, but I am a huge fan of Doctor Who, which came out just a few years before this show, and my friend who's a fan of both actually prefers this series. I'm definitely not going to enter this series trying to compare it to MY favorite show, Doctor Who because that wouldn't be fair so... here I go, i hope this is as awesome as people say it is.
