there's rumors that when the show finally does end that it will have its own tv channel set up for the entire show because it truly is the one cartoon that lasted all others over 24 years worth of seasons the tv channel would be the most watched channel if they mix episodes from new and old that is. Simpsons fan FOREVER!!

"The Simpsons is losing touch." All of the people who said that probably lost touch with what they once found funny. The Simpsons is an old classic and what we grew up finding funny may not seem so funny anymore, because we've changed and our tastes have changed. It's not supposed to be Family Guy with tasteless, stupid-funny humor. The Simpsons was always funny, but in a more clever way. To be honest, I don't think they've lost touch and I think the writers are one of the most creative writers out there. What a great show!

This is the best show on television. I have been watching this show since i was a little kid. I remember getting in trouble for wearing my Bart Simpsons shirt because it said underachiever. My mom was pissed off when i told her they made me take it off lol. Love this show and will be sad when they stop making new episodes :'(. Homer is my favorite character on the show.

I honestly have no idea why people say The Simpsons has died. I've grown up watching this tv show almost every night of my life and I've enjoyed it more and more each time. VIVA LA SIMPSONS

I'll always love the Simpsons, I've seen every episode atleast twice. Grew up watching as a baby and it's been an inspiration to other animated adult comedy shows. I respect them for being the longest running primetime show ever and sticking to their roots, not having as vulgar jokes like South Park and Family Guy. You gotta love the Simpsons even if you don't watch anymore, it's become apart of our culture and everyone knows the characters and theme song. Keep up the good work Simpsons!!

born in the 80s, i grew up with this family. my humor is directly correlated as well as our entire generation's. while yes, the show while timeless has aged a a bit, we can all still sit down and watch out other family, the one we grew up with to escape our own reality in what seemed so real itself. i wish i won that simpsons house...

great show still to this day, some episodes are kinda lame but it's to be expected after hundreds and hundreds of episodes.

I started watching the Simpsons when I was 4-6 (probably not the best age, but whatever), and I've kept watching it, so I've grown up with it. I will be sad when it eventually ends (hopefully not for awhile).

I enjoy watching the Simpsons, but I'm laughing less and less. I kinda liked that they didn't go so raunchy like the other adult animated shows and stuck to their roots, but it seems as though they should. Humor changes with time and I realize that back in the day they weren't allowed to do/say certain things, but now they can. I've been watching since I was a kid and I want this show to get better with age since it's iconic and the longest running tv show of all time. C'mon writers, you can do better and make the characters have more edge. You're on the same network as Family Guy, get some pointers from them.

I love the Simpsons, I've been watching ever since I was 5. It's the king of cartoons, I remember it being named the longest running show in 1999 and now it's 2011. Without the Simpsons there would be no other shows like Family Guy which is pretty much a rip-off of them. I wouldn't mind if this lasted another 10 years, it's getting better with each episode.
