Well goddamn, Louie is part Mexican. That's pretty awesome. He can now be included in the pachanga. He can be our ginger mascot. Awesome episode...brilliant commentary on gender restrictive social norms.

Interesting episode. This is the kind of episode that makes you wonder which story lines/situations are reflections of Louie's real experiences. ....and @ritmanis I think it was a pride thing. Louie probably felt embarrassed and pathetic trying to admit that he has a boring life not many friends - this guy showed him more brotherly love than most of his friends - and that back in his NY apartment Louie IS one of those ivory tower people in his living a somewhat isolated social life. Louie WAS looking for companionship in a brotherly, supportive sense, and that was too weird for him to explain.

In this case, the awkward situation was all his fault. If he could just talk and say what he feels instead of awkward mumbling, it would have turned out good. Why can't a fucking man say that he stayed because the guy showed him a good time with his family and he felt welcome and thankful for that. Why can't anyone ever say what they feel? Is it really that much more uncomfortable than being suspected of being gay? Fucking stupid, man.

What a good and thoughtful episode. The social commentary on the isolation of the ivory tower 1% er's style of living was somewhat unexpected for a comedy show. What a talented Mexican-gringo Louis is!

So, is his ex-wife supposed to be the mother of his two daughters? Kinda doesn't add up.
