This is the best series Netflix has come out with in a while. They really brought back the tone of that era, I remember it well. The actor who played Kemper was creepy as hell and amazing at pulling off that role. It was good to see Olivia from Fringe again. I really wish there were more than 10 eps, can't wait for more.

Absolutely brilliant and worthy of all the critical acclaim it has been receiving. Realistic and shocking - at one point I had to check myself for feeling sympathy for Ed Kimber for being friendless - they brought out the fact that these monsters can pass for human and that is truly scary. Those who come out with the 'nothing new cliche' maybe need to remember two things: firstly, this is factually based and directed by the director of the Zodiac Killer movie and Secondly, there is NOTHING new anymore and that is not a worthy measure to judge something by.

i like it (been binging it all day. watching s01e09 now - here's for hoping there'll be more). it's masters of sex (minus the sex) combined with the good early seasons of criminal minds, sprinkled with a bit of good ol' american notions of good and evil, right vs. wrong, etc. all understated, of course. good characters, good writing, nothing too graphic. a nice change. and it helps that nothing much else is on at the moment.

I just find this whole series fascinating. I read the book a while ago, and it's truly chilling stuff-- I mean, the depths of human depravity are unfathomable, and we get here an insight into the understanding of such twisted characters. Everything from the directing and atmosphere, to the writing and well-laid sound design/music, and even the acting: top notch! I had chills going through me when Ed Kemper was talking. If you're a fan of David Fincher, this is must-see television. Although, I find many casual viewers will be disappointed that it's not in the same style of crime shows they're used to-- but I love it all the more because of that fact. It's less action, and more character study... criminality and psychology. I can compare 'Mindhunters' closely to Fincher's film 'Zodiac' in terms of style, substance, and tone. Brilliant!

Based on real people and real events. Interspersed with real and fictional cases as well as certain aspects are changed for 'creative/artistic license'. Poor representation of the time frame itself. Some of the time pieces are accurate-ish. Most are not. This is more a psuedo-biographical effort into the development of the BSU and it's evolution rather than a whodunit. Interesting if this sort of thing is up your alley. Not interesting if you're expecting a cable version of CSI, Criminal Minds or other nonsense.

Solid show. More of a mood study and historical drama than thriller. At least to start. The 60 min run-time listed above is slightly deceptive since the episodes range from almost as short as 30 minutes to just under an hour.

Just watched ep1. Retro story about the development of psychological profiling by the FBI in the 70s. Engaging script and lead actor. Very well directed by House of Cards executive producer. Creative and effective sound design. I found the title sequence offensive because of the use of subliminal imagery. I did immediately want to watch ep2, so I may be binge watching.

This slowly walks you down a path that gets more intriguing every episode until a totally mind blowing ending, stay with it for a couple of episodes, it will be worth it

I really dislike the undertone... It's revisionist perspective on the past, very much disconnected with the reality at those times. Also, the lead actor, I must say, seems too 'flamboyant' for an FBI agent. This is definitely not a show for me. There are better ones out there.

Excellent, excellent show. Cerebral. Not sure how to explain how well it's directed. Very nuanced scenes that appear very realistic. Ford and Tench make great partners and their occasional banter definitely gets a good laugh out of me sometimes. I'm so very much like Ford: Intellectual, analytical and sometimes socially awkward. That's where Tench comes in and balances out the duo with his much needed people skills. Episode 4? There's an amazing mic drop that literally brings you along for the gratification they feel when they get what they get. Looking forward to finishing the rest of the episodes today. ** And Ms. Torv? First time I've seen her back since Fringe*** Five Stars.

When the show is focused on the work, cases, interviewing killers etc it is amazing and fascinating but when it goes off that like the characters personal lives it's dull and boring but there is enough of good stuff for me to recommend it.3.5/5

One thing I learned from Mindhunter is that Murderers and Child Rapists had more human rights than black people back in the day

Good series. The pilot episode is by far the weakest of all and really quite badly done. I think that a lot of people may be deterred by this and give up on the series. I found it really boring. I decided to stick with it and I'm glad I did as it gets a lot better from the second episode onwards.

WOW. Opening to that shotgun scene. Shows how devastating a weapon it really is. Far more real than any tv/movie I've seen. Not sure about the characters yet, but only one Ep. in.
