The clichés really weigh the story down. And Danny Rand's character profile doesn't feel believable. And the writing is lazy. But Im a sucker for marvel, so the next 12 episodes I will endure!

Meet Danny the eternal fumbling bumbling child that we are expected to believe went through 15 years of intensive martial arts training to be some kind of ultimate weapon, but who cannot kill. This forms a theme for his character willing to sacrifice anything to save the life that is right in front of him without thought of consequence. Not so much a hero as an overpowered child in a show that cannot be shown to children. I don't necessarily consider the plot slow just very badly written around the main character and his two female enablers. Sub plots and the development of Ward in particular kind of saved the series for me but it was still sub par.

Better than Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, not as good as Daredevil. A fun watch all told though. I see people either really liked it or absolutely hated it, but the haters seem to be more from the purist bunch so most will probably enjoy this. "Doesn't line up perfectly with the comics and the fight scenes aren't precisely choreographed" seem to be the biggest complaints. So, if you aren't a Martial Arts or Comic fanatic dive in!

This is just awful. They absolutely butchered the character. The fights are terrible and worst of all it's a bit boring. Some people WILL Like this show; but most are not going to be Fans of the Iron Fist or Heroes for Hire comics; they are not going to be people looking for an awesome kung-fu show in the marvel universe- people that like the slow meleodrama stories and general intrigue plots are going to love it. I am really disappointed in this one.

Clumbsy goofy martial arts...the guys in the lobby would have toasted his azz! There must have been a better actor with good martial arts skills, this guy is silly!

I might be the only one to think this, but .... what a disappointment. This story made the iron fist look like a wussy. All he did was complain and whine, and there were so few good fight scenes and cgi. This has to be the worst Netflix/Marvel collaboration to date.

As a life-long comic book reader and collector, this show not only missed it's mark, it made me quite sick to my stomach... for comic book fans, I would say 2 out of 5 stars. As an action show, I give it 3 out of 5 stars, because of a few decent fight scenes that seemed realistic... the rest was just absolutely pathetic.

Great show so far. I can't believe all the racists that think only an Asian should play a martial arts expert saying this show is racist and sucks

I don't understand why Marvel can't make an actual super hero tv series, it's always more like a drama with the odd power up once an episode, they make great movies but lack a lot in the Series Episodes. DC is the opposite they make great tv shows and their movies are lacking a lot. Doesn't make sense

the further into the season i got, the more empty and boring it became. reminds me of a CW show. combat is not believable. not worth your time.

Wow....that was bad story telling. Bad dialogue and bad characters. Honestly I feel really bad for this first season. I mean yeah see it it's worth the first time watch. Even though it took me 5 days to watch the whole series. Bad bad bad script.

By far the worst of the four. Insufferable lead with 15 years of training to control his body, mind and emotion yet goes from one childish emo moment to the other. The story is thin, the lead weak though the supporting cast had a few interesting suprises. The action had a few good moments, but lost most of its appeal faster than Danny could go emo. Hope the combination of the 4 makes this character stronger.
