Network tv really is dead. They don't even try for something new and when they do and it doesn't give them 20 millions (virtual Nielsen) viewers, they just cancel and try again with boring old court dramas, cop shows or medical shows and then they wonder why they fail.

Nothing extraordinary needed to be done to make this show a standard procedural law show. Unfortunately the show misses that mark and is average while not providing anything new to grab an audience. It's like they tried to take a happy procedural like Private Practice or Harry's Law and smush it into a fast paced elegant/sexy show like The Chase/Notorious with rapid Scandal dialogue. The result is an awkward show with akward moments (them reciting the owners creed was terrible). On top of all that you add the unbearable Katherine Heigl to the mix and she washes away all the interesting characters on the cast. In the end the show is like an awkward kid. Networks aren't going to wait till the braces come off.

Apparently the unaired 11 episodes will air on Saturdays starting in July.

I have a rule. If I roll my eyes more than twice during a series, I stop watching that series. I didn't watch a second of the 3rd episode. Bad dialogue can ruin a series or a movie for me. To this day I've never finished watching 2 of the Star Wars movies--and the ones I'm talking about weren't made by Disney.

Another new show that seems to have potential. I enjoyed the first episode. It seemed more like a comedy/drama at the beginning but became more of a drama as it went on. Good cast too. We shall see.

now we are at the nitty gritty,i bet the network is wishing they had let this run, but hell, Albert is now in suits, which is worse than this, and the other fella will be shooting the new ray donovan, so i feel really let down for the rest of the cast,as i have started to connect with them, this is much better than, the trolls on here have made it out to be

Laverne Cox makes this tolerable. The writing is pretty bad, but I will keep with it, in hope that it improves. Worth my time, just to see a transwoman taken seriously in a mainstream format.

Hayley Atwell couldn't save Conviction and Katherine Heigl can't save this. The show portrays the lead woman as a strong, determined woman who is good at her job and then reduces her to tears when some guy she hardly knows says he loves her, all because he says thankyou when the guards take the cuffs off. Cringe.......

Agree with meo2. The actors kept me watching until, finally, at 39:02 in the second episode, there was a line of dialog so bad that I could not watch another second. RIP Doubt. Please.
