I can honestly say (& every art teacher I have ever had will agree) that I have the artistic talent of a goldfish. But everytime I watch Bob Ross I am convinced that I'm one 2 inch paintbrush away from creating a masterpiece. Bob, you were, and still are, an inspiration to many. R.I.P

Absolutely love this show. I don't paint but I really enjoy watching Bob Ross, he's such a gentle spirit, just listening to him chills me out, wish they had shown this when I was growing up in Ireland.

Never painted in Oil or Acrylic before, but this show gave me hints that allowed me to create some beautiful artwork.

Whenever I see this cover, makes me want to go get a sketch book at least, if not get a canvas and some painting tools.

Aww Bob Ross and his happy lil stuff like trees and mistakes. Loved hearing his soothing voice on TV when I was a a lil girl. I remember being amazed as I saw what he did on a plain canvas with paint. I still catch him every now and then on PBS channel. I watch it and reminisce back to a calmer simpler time.

Great for those to learn art and for people who get the Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response sensation.

I like Bob Ross too.Did everyone know he was a student of Bill alexander? Bill Alexander had a pbs series before Bob Ross. Bill invented magic white, the thick oil paints, the palette knife, and brushes.Along with the technique. Bob calls his liquid white. I have a video, where Bill alexander, actually gives the receipe for magic white.Anyone can make it themselves. It would be great if someone could hunt down all the Bill Alexander pbs shows as well, and add links to them.
