It wasn't terrible. At first it's really bizarre seeing an American copy of our beloved hilarious UK one. Some of the same material is used especially early on but as the series progresses they get some original stories and I actually started to enjoy it. I'd suggest having an open mind and not comparing it to the English version. Uh, and did anyone else think Jay looked as though he had down syndrome here?

well... Just to be honest, i really disliked this show. It wasn't good at all, they basically spoke every word from the original.

This acting is terrible. Terrible... They copied the original nearly world for word yet somehow they lost the funny

I just couldn't watch the whole episode, very poor re-make of the brilliant UK show. Do yourself a favour and watch the original. 1/10.

It's not that bad. It is pretty much the exact same as the UK version, but a bit worse.

Americans don't have their own original ideas so they have to steal others...the end result is...bad. Skins, The Office, this one, and Shameless(which is in the us version pretty much word for word, scene for scene the same as the uk version). Well those are the only ones I can think of now. Oh, and a us version of Mistresses...really?

What happened to briefcase w*nker? Will isn't half as sarcastic as he is in the UK version and he doesn't wear glasses. I don't understand why they didn't just show the original version, this just misses out so many great parts and great lines. I didn't expect anything amazing but I didn't expect it to be this bad.

I don't understand the need for this particular remake. I understand remaking for the US when maybe the humour doesn't travel well, but with the inbetweeners, not only is it the writing, it is the cast that made this show the complete brilliant success it was and quite frankly what has been produced here is complete drivel in comparison to the original. In the same manner we could not replicate Sheldon and the guys from The Big Bang the USA should leave Will and his guys alone!!!!!

this doesn't work as An adaptation of the inbetweeners unlike UK theres no room to maneuver between the american high school cliques without a miracle [or so every american high school show i have ever seen implies] whereas in the UK school positioning is a lot more fluid and to do with who you are rather than what you can do or have. wish they had transplanted the big bang theory to a high school setting instead can you imagine those guys as a bunch of teenagers lol

If I were American I'd love to be involved with pissing off all these British viewers, I mean relax it's just a television show. I loved the original inbetweeners it's clever, witty, and completely original. The American one isn't quite as good. It's censored, the intellect has been brought down to relate to the average American teen and poorly acted.

Really? a US Version Of The Inbetweeners ??? I Cant Imagine This Being Any Good, Not Getting Into The Whole Uk Vrs Us Bebate As Both Have Great Shows But The Reason The Inbetweeners Works Is Due To The Brilliant Cast & The Setting, This Is Like The Uk Trying To Do FRIENDS Set In Liverpool With An English Cast ??? (please watch the original)
