I used to work for a gunsmith/gunshop and still have a good idea of what guns are worth. I suppose Rich figures whatever he can get his rich customers to pay is a fair price, but I'd be worried about my reputation when they start finding out how much they're being overcharged. The 7 guns he sold to the couple, from what I could tell, aren't worth more than $10-11K RETAIL (and that's with the .375 going for $5-6K by itself)! To ask for almost $30K and then charge $20+K is more than a little over the top in my mind.

I have to worry about the competence of those 'gunsmiths'. I'm a former metal machinist and this is about what I'd expect of a new apprentice, not time-served adult men. Re the axe-mortar......why?? You can get a decent real (and safe) weapon for that kind of stash. I know this show is going for drama and extremes but its gone over the line into just plain ridiculous.
