I miss the Vegas cast. It is a shame they have so many things happening in one episode now. Maybe if they used 2 shops and 2 things needing restored ..with 3 they are no longer showing any of the work that needs to be done. I am still watching because i like this kind of show..but it is no longer as good without the Vegas cast.

I think I'm done with this show if this is the new cast. It just isn't the same without Rick and his crew. The first episode didn't really do anything special to draw me in and I'm not really interested in watching cars and motorcycles get restored, which is what the main focus seems to be now. They should've just canceled the show and brought this new cast in with a new name and theme. I don't think it's very fair for them to piggy-back off the old fan base.

American Restoration without Rick Dale is not American Restoration. You learn a lot about they restore including the process involved in the restoration. After watching the third episode I spotted a lot of short cuts that were taken and the amount they quote is a joke. To restore that fire truck for what he quoted would not even pay for the parts it was missing.

This is one of those shows where it really is never too late to start watching it. It really showcases the quality and time that was put into manufacturing everything it the generations where quality and durability still meant something compared to the ''throw away'' generation of today. Rick and his team really put a lot of time, effort, and pride in restoring old pieces to their former glory.

Awesome show! I love to see antique items get restored back to factory condition. Its amazing the amount of work this crew puts toward restoring an item. Of course the show cuts a lot of things out but to think how much time is put into each unique item.

I'm a fan of shows like this one, but what killed it for me was the fact that there are 3 shops .. that takes so so much out of the restoration part. there is no tear down no metal work nothing! just and old pice of something and two shots later the new version walking away, driving away .. I don't know about anyone else but in my opinion this new concept suck and I'm done with this show .. if you all like it good for you.

If you think Rick's prices are high think about this,if you take your car to a shop for a Major repair, not restored to the original condition, you are looking at conservatively $100 per hour labor not parts or paint,it could run to several thousand dollars. These guys are craftsmen and artisans, and if its worth restoring its worth the price.

I hope they canned the idiot at History Channel who changed the format of the show and let go Rick Dale and his shop. There's a old saying you can't fix what's not broken someone should have told this guy that!!

I like this show myself, well the episodes that are not all about the drama in the shop but the episodes where it actually shows them doing the work to restore these magnificent pieces of history, all this old stuff that come in looking like garbage but when they leave the shop look fantastic even though they retain the look they had when they were new. Wow, this show blows Pawn stars and Pickers out of the water, no contest.

Happy to see new episodes, this is a fantastic show. I hope ric and the crew do aswell as Pawn Stars has done. I love the episodes where the two shows interact, not to mention the episode where Rick restores an old sieren for Mark\'s Museum.
