So glad to be back at Downton. . . . 'I'm going upstairs to take off my hat.' 'I do love you, in my own cold and heartless way.' 'Perhaps you'd better marry a very rich man so you won't have to try.' . . . One long-running mystery is revealed while three more are introduced. What fantastic sleight-of-hand.

What a fantastic show, Marie voice and acting is splendid, and all the other actors, they act like they lived before in the last century.

My favorite character from day one has been the Dowager Countess, Maggie Smith. I don't think there's ever been anything she's done that I haven't loved her in. Aside from her, I have to say that Elizabeth McGovern is absolutely stunning as Cora Crawley. I just love who she is in this show. Actually, every character, whether they're likable or villainous, are outstanding in their roles. In the last two days I've watched every episode up to Season 3, Episode 4, which I'm about to watch now. By tomorrow night, I'll be caught up entirely.

For those of you asking/wondering about Season 4 - It looks like it will be airing in the UK in September 2013, and airing in the US in January 2014. So hopefully this site will have uploads when it airs in the UK.

Lol...Need something to watch until Downton resumes? If you're like me and enjoy a 'Period Piece', I highly recommend each of these wonderful series: Aristocrats (1999), Call the Midwife (2012), City of Vice (2008), Cranford (2007), John Adams (2008), Lark Rise To Candleford (2008 - Lol...Not 1970, as listed!), Middlemarch (1994), North and South (2004), The Crimson Petal and the White (2010), and The Paradise (2012). All shows are listed alphabetically - not by preference - and are found here at PrimeWire under 'TV Selections'... Lol...Or, by looking at my personal 'Favourites'! Each superb mini-series was produced in the UK, by the BBC, with John Adams (2008) being the single exception. Enjoy!
