After Rome and Game of Thrones, I stumbled onto this gem. This show is very well-made, well-cast and the costumes are AMAZING. Now I will wait patiently for season 3! In the meantime, I'll be watching The Tudors 4/5

just cant get into this show. Every time I try to watch it, I end up not paying attention after 20 mins. I think its the topic of the story, Im just not interested. Go ahead and hit the Useless button, god forbid someone has a opinion that doesnt agree with yours. It wont make me suddenly change my mind. Its funny, most of the time the comments with the lowest useful percentage are the most insightful.

season one blew me away...i was hooked like a crack hoe workin ponce de leon after the first episode... ...season two drove me insane with the instrumental theme (the best thing since Carmina Burana and those 9th century monk chants gone disco) along with episodic scores; the storyline twists and turns including the creepy dude who is the family protector and homosexual serial killer who gets fucked in a graveyard.. at one point i was so involved i was wrapping myself in a red blanket and walking around the house (all cardinal style) blessing the dog, the birds outside and my two sons using a pixie wheel as a baton... season three...mutha fuckin unbelievable first episode so full, so intense, so 15 century ghetto rich i almost peed my pants....(i mean my cardinal wrap). in any case, this series is flawless, seamless, stirring, emotional, textural, gritty and rich all at the same time and the tightest cast in three galaxies . FIVE BIG ASS STARS OUT OF FIVE FOR THIS SERIES...

I don't know much about The Catholic faith, but I'm pretty sure the Pope isn't supposed to have half a dozen children.

I'm in love with Lucrezia Borgia and this show... Watch it cause it's one of the best shows out there.

It's very entertaining despite it's omission of certain subjects. If the devil really exists I'm sure he spends his summers in the bosom of the Catholic Church.

Thanks to whoever uploaded these fine series. Written and directed by Neil Jordan, author of the Crying Game, Interview with the vampire, Ondine, among others. Great production, great storyline, fantastic actors. It made me want to read more about those decadent times and the rumors about the greatness and fall of the Borgias.

I enjoyed the first season and so far I am enjoying the second season. Note to people this is Historical FICTION not actual history as it happened. Please enjoy the show and not try to not compare it to the actual history. 5/5 Stars.

this for me is an excellent series. That family had somany things going on and this is portrayed quite perfectly, building up to each rumour, showing the development behind each and every rumour... of course, it is but interpretation of the truth, but it gives us everything: action, intrigue, erotic, politics and history. If you have not started it yet... try!

The show is a 10/10.. A+... its the deepest show ive ever seen.. It really shows you how fucked up people can be.HOW evil they can be just for greed and power. Its a very sad show and depressing, but at the same time i couldnt stop watching it.. My favorite shows in order- Game of thrones, spartacus, the borgias, and then breaking bad! Watch it but fair warning it gets deep with no happy endings!

I think it is a bit problematic that I am hopelessly in love with Jeremy Irons, and he's over 60. But age is but a number.... I hope.
