This is a mix of Batman TAS and The Batman... this should be sorted out, or both of them should atleast have their own section or something.

I watched this religiously as a kid after school. I prefer this one personally, over the new adventures, this seemed more adult

I haven't seen anybody talk about how wonderful the score is on this show. So, yeah, it's just as great as the artwork. Brilliant!

Despite what many people have claimed on the forums, this page is still composed of 2 entirely separate series. One is Batman the Animated Series which is all of the first season and the second up until Harliquinade, and the Third Season seems correct (though throughout all three exist links for the other show on this page). The second show is The Batman, which premiered a long time after Batman: The Animated Series (almost a decade after the beginning of Batman: The Animated series). Seasons 2, 4, and 5 possibly other episodes in other seasons on this page feature that show. People don't seem to believe anyone telling them otherwise so the likelihood of it being fixed is slim, and you'll just have to suffer through it. Over all though Batman: The Animated Series is rated #2 on IMDB's Top 100 animated shows of all time. I loved it as a kid and re-watching it now it's become very clear why IMDB had chosen it for #2. It's an amazing series, not only were the storyboards well put together but the script is fantastic (It's written for both younger and older audiences with jokes thrown in for both, clean jokes too, which makes it all the better) i.e. (Things just aren't the same since deregulation). Through in some amazing voice acting and you have a winner. Batman: The Animated Series 5/5 The Batman 3/5 (I haven't seen all of this series, I caught a few episodes here and there, but to hunt down the order of the episodes on this page doesn't seem to be worth the effort).

Mark Hamill as the Joker was the best and I loved Harley Quinn too. :)

Love this show. One of the best if not the best cartoon ever. Loved how they used 50's imagery, but still kept it modern. The storylines were incredible, made Batman look human not supernatural or campy. Made for kids but definitely had a more mature undertone to them. The storyline with Selena Kyle(Catwoman) and Bruce was great. Mark Hamill(Luke Skywalker) as the Joker was brillant. And of course the genesis of the character Harley Quinn. My only complaint of this show is in season 4(i think, maybe 5) they switched animation companies and the animation wasn't nearly as good. I own the box set of this show. It's got all the episodes plus a list of them in order. On this site all the time and would like to contribute. Don't know how, or even if i can rip the dvd's, or how I could help to get the episodes in order. Suggestions PM me.

This is the reason most Batman fans will agree that Kevin Conroy was the best onscreen Batman of all time. (seemed like the thing to do)

Still in my opinion, the best graphics in a cartoon. Set in the right time era, and great great voices, and storylines. Dark as batman should be, until the new movies, this was one of the few that actually repersented how batman SHOULD be. 9/10 -Jen

Fantastic show a true classic. For a kid show it sure is dark. Too bad it wasn't meant for mature audiences.

y did it have to end? I think this is designed for a wide range of ppl. Yes its a cartoon, but because of the mature nature I believe even adults can enjoy. "Robin's Reckoning" won an Emmy in 1993 for Most Outstanding Half Hour or Less Program. "Heart of Ice" also won the show an Emmy in 1993 for Most Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program I'm a huge batman fan, anyone that is would love watching this if they haven't already done so. :)
