The humor in this show is a LOT more intelligent than I caught onto as a kid. It's still enjoyable as an adult because it was actually smart and witty. Man, Warner Bros. was really rolling out some fantastic animated series during this time. Why do all cartoons now seem so dumbed down? It has to be the people writing it, right? Or do you think they all got some kind of a 'memo' that told them to bore people to tears with cheap, unimaginative garbage? (and don't tell me cartoons are just for kids... we're ALL kids... and that's what made cartoons good to us as actual children, we were able to know we weren't be spoken to like idiots, but like adults, in a way.) I guess that's how you save money nowadays, just hire no-talents fresh out of college who have no unique vision at all. What am I talking about? As if writers would have creative freedom anyway, now, I suppose. Flame on... I'm sure people still think SOME writers have creative freedom in SOME places. No, they don't. They still would only hire people who were already wanting to write what they were wanting to air. They aren't going to just hire people and say 'Well, here's your office... let's see what you can come up with.' It's more like 'Look, we know this guy is into writing about this, this, and this and we're really interested in going with this type of theme....' So, yes, you could argue some writers DO have creative freedom, but only so long as their creativity was already in alignment with their superiors. I digress. Great show. 5/5. The theme song alone is funny. Their 'twilight campaign--' It's like somebody had pet rodents and had the paranoid/funny thought 'they must awaken at night to hatch plans against us' and there the show was born. Genius stuff.

Best cartoon in my opinion. When I was a kid I always wanted to be smart like The Brain. But I turned out to be goofy like Pinky. lol

5/5. Great! One of my favourites. It's funny how Brain bullies Pinky; you just don't see that in cartoons anymore.
