I watch a massive amount of movies, because I love them and because I've got the time to do so. The money spent or name of the actors isn't what draws me into movies, it's what's different about it and ultimately if it's good or not. I always try to give some good points and some bad about a movie in my reviews because not everyone has the time to sit back and watch a bunch of movies, and while it's always important to form your own opinion, some people just need help sorting it all out.
NOTICE: I've had several people message me thanking me for the reviews I do on gay interest movies/films. Unfortunately this site doesn't have a genre for LGBT movies/films so it can often be a struggle to sort through trying to find ones to watch, and even more so to find ones that are worth watching as often times movies/films from this genre can differ greatly in quality. If anyone is looking for some LGBT movie/film recommendations beyond the ones I've already reviewed please fell free to contact me and ask as I've watched far more of them than what I have reviewed on here. Also to any LGBT/curious members on here that ever need someone to talk to or to anyone that has questions on the subject please feel free to send me a private message and I'm always willing to talk and/or answer questions either on here or any other messaging service of your choice. Thanks all and have a good day and I'll keep the reviews coming.
I still wouldn't judge a show based on that. I'm not one for reviews and whatnot, but it's gotten good reviews. It has to be doing something right to be looked upon favourably.
You shouldn't judge "The Good Doctor" based on one person's comments. If you haven't actually watched it, one person's comments is not enough. Give it a try before writing off the show completely.
that is SO true! i was like "fuck yeah! roast ya little bastard!" xD too much? ok i'll take it down.
omg I cant STAND adrian! The only other character that pissed me off that much is Zach from The Strain!
your comment on The Mist (tv show) made me LOL! Kudos to you!
i replied to your reply on my comment from Dune (the series)...thanks and cheers! sending 5 KArma your way
Thanks for the recommendation of Everything, Everything (2017). It was exactly my type of movie, and I fully enjoyed it. It's a small production, but the acting was very well done, plus the music and scenery were great as well. I know some people don't like remakes or stories that are done over and over again, but it didn't bother me in the slightest. Great movie about young love. Solid 8/10. Thanks again.
I sent you +5 Kudos for your recommendation.
I want to make sure one thing is absolutely clear to everyone that reads my reviews and comments, I absolutely welcome and respect differing views from my own. When I do reviews I always try to give the good, the bad, why I personally liked it or didn't like it, and while I always give my overall ''watch it'' or ''skip it'' I almost always tell people to make up their own opinions on it. I've been on this site for almost 4 years now and in that time the community on here has greatly changed, and unfortunately not for the better. Before you could review a movie/film and if people agreed with your review they would tell you why, or reversely if they didn't agree with you they would tell you and explain why. There were many times when they would be full blown discussions about a movie/film/review that would go on for hours with multiple people engaged in it and it was amazing. Unfortunately for the most part that has changed now, it's very rare to see a conversation chain that doesn't instantly go into a rant and insult fest on how you're wrong, or what would you know you're not in the industry or just plain out insults without even an explanation. So I just wanted to let people know you're always welcome to agree or disagree with me and I love it when others share their point of view as well.
+K for your review on The Force Awakens.
Really liked, and agreed, with your review on The Conjuring 2. Upvoted and +5 from me.
@SuggestionBox Hey thanks I appreciate it.
Thanks for the great review of The Conjuring 2. You were spot on, regardless of the down votes. (On Primewire, I've come to see that as a badge of honor... in many cases.) Some people just hate having the bubbles to their pretty little worlds burst. The truth? They don't care about it. They have ''their truth'' and that's all that matters to them. Everyone and everything else is fair game to rage at and belittle. But try that with them and YOU become every horrible name in the dictionary. Hypocrisy is alive and well. Enough of my rant. +5K for the great review!
Hey ya'll, I know it's been a long while since I've posted a general message to all on my wall, but I was thinking about something and wanted to get your input on it. As you all know from my watched list and the reviews I do I have covered a great number of movies, tv series, and films spanning pretty much every genre there is. my question is, would you all prefer if I had my own site that you could go to that was better organized with all of the reviews I do and would this be useful enough for me to spend the time doing so? Thanks in advance for any feedback on this.
+ random K
@MANintheMOON Glad I could be of assistance, that's why I do these reviews.
Saw EX MACHINA last night and a friend I told about it recommended AUTOMATA. Thanks for the heads-up on the plot disintegration. EX MACHINA is elegant and cohesive through to the end.
K for you for sharing your watched list .I've found some interesting choices.Have a good weekend.
Thanks for your contribution to the comment section for the movie, 'The Fault in Our Stars.' Being an old, gray haired, granny, I am really impressed with the young men who left such nice, heartfelt comments about this movie. I'm sure there are still issues and times that bring out the more 'macho' in the guys, but that's true of any of us - we all have masks that we have to hide behind from time to time. I was very impressed by those fellows who were able to admit that this movie made them cry (I adore this movie, enjoyed it immensely and certainly cried through several places) and didn't seem to fear teasing about that or feel that their masculinity was at all diminished (which it certainly is not). Thanks to all of you for giving me such a clear picture of this area of growth and maturity that the younger generations have been able to conquer. A great movie and excellent comments = very good day!
You are further to be commended on your dedication towards always providing your honest opinion. Too often, people are more concerned about the opinions of others and it's very important to them that they are admired and liked. Sometimes it can take years and years, if ever, for people to realize that others are drawn towards people who respect honesty and value their own integrity.
Have a wonderful Christmas season with your family and friends. Shauna
Love the comments, keep them coming. Helps me to decide on movies. And most of the time..your correct
