Im interested in Apathy
Im on the drug that killed River Phoenix
Hahahaha! Christians say the damnedest things!
Also Detour was kinda good... and The Hole ..if you haven't already seen them they may be worth checking out.
Hey, whats up? I haven't really noticed. That kind of censorship sounds typical though. The site is probably moderated by fundamentalists or some shit. I'm currently without a computer, so I haven't been on here that much lately... but I have been keeping an eye out for good movie recommendations to send your way. Mostly just crap is all I've been seeing though sadly. THE AUTOPSY OF JANE DOE was a bit of something different. Supernatural horror genre. I liked it. Hope you're having a great weekend!!!
just saw you question about John Cusack's film biography and I see it was well answered by snapped_peach but if you are interested in 80's music and you want a laugh then I would recommend High Fidelity from Stephen frears who directed him in the The Grifters.
Yeah, I chuckled heartily reading through that convo with gregncat. Some people are just completely blind to anything that doesn't conform to their own view.
I have to admit, offensive slang, even in the Canadian vernacular, goes over my head a lot, so I didn’t really catch the offensive part, but I was almost 30 when River Phoenix died, so you must be a lot closer to your past youth than I am, lol. I liked the song, except I know I only caught a tiny bit of what they’re saying. My youth would’ve been more like the Little River Band concert I went to when I was 14. My son thought that was pretty funny when I told him I knew what Will Ferrell’s character was talking about to Mark Wahlberg in The Other Guys when he was playing the “LRB” song in the car. Yes, I really saw them. But to be clear, I also saw Sammy Hagar the same day, lol. Thank you for sharing that.
I will watch Agora. And I’ll tell you once I have. I get in moods for certain things and I have a certain mood for ancient history that sometimes needs fulfilling:). And sometimes I want to watch people baking fancy cakes...whatever that mood is, lol. Take care.
It seems that someone in Primewire heaven is a very big fan of Nicolas Cage or doesn't have our sense of humour as all traces of that comment have been eliminated from the site. Pity!
Thanks for the compliment but I don't really know what I did to deserve such an acolade
Your 'conversation' with said bible thumper made for very entertaining reading, whilst enjoying a cuppa this evening

Thanks for being a sane individual and for always fighting the good fight.
All the best to ya!
I'm reading your heartfelt post, but I need to be clear that I'm not Catholic. I'm not Anglican either. We don't have priests, and I don't consider it the same faith as mine, one reason being we do not believe in having people to confess sins to another human and having that human making a decision on whether to give absolution or forgiveness, when they are just human just like you and I. I married a Catholic and I studied Catholicism so I am very aware of precisely what they believe and the differences between what Catholics believe and what my faith is. I can speak directly to God if I choose (because I do believe in God, but I understand that if you don't believe in Him then you think I'm ridiculous and that's OK). Telling another human what I've done and expecting them to tell me whether I'm OK and forgiven or not is, to me, silly, and also, I don't pray to Mary. As far as we are concerned she was just human and died a human and cannot be prayed to because she is a human just like the rest of us, although she was blessed--as many other humans have been. There are many other differences, but please try to remember that just like being a Buddhist is different from being a Christian, being a Catholic is different from being a Christian. We don't even have the same Bible. So while I can totally understand your completely justifiable anger about the heinous things done to you by a Catholic priest, that isn't my faith and I think making church leaders be completely celibate and not allowed to marry causes a huge problem simply because they are just human. And no, Christians are not any more or less perfect than Catholics or Buddhists, simply because we are all human and we are not supposed to look to humans to be our examples of perfection, but being Catholic is not the same faith or belief. And I'm truly sorry for what you've gone through. Truly sorry. I don't want to cause any more offence to you or infringe on whatever you believe or don't believe, but I know you must have a lot of pain, and I'm going to pray for you and I know you don't think it'll do anything, but I am someone who believes that if there's a chance it might do good, then I would take that chance for someone. Take care.
I don’t actually know if you’re a buffoon, lol...of course, I’m sure you’re not, but I would like people to either limit their comments to things that matter, like the quality of the cam, the bad links, or tell us why they loved or hated the movie AFTER they actually watch it, or at least tried to and maybe either fell asleep or became horrified or disgusted or so bored after trying to watch it for a decent amount of time, but had to give up. No, I don’t look for Christian movies, like, ever. I do like sappy things sometimes. Like when my dad was dying, I watched Doc every week and it kind of filled a need at the time, plus, I’m a girly-girl-woman, but I actually prefer bio or historical movies and I really love action movies, of all things. Lucifer is one of my favourite shows, and I still can’t quite believe it, but I just like it. I’d just appreciate honest, real critiques, interesting insights about the actors or characters, etc., and not comments that bash a movie simply because it is about my faith or someone else’s. I know you didn’t watch that movie before you posted your now deleted comment, and you know you wouldn’t like it anyhow. So what you did seemed immature and undignified to me. I did retaliate, but I didn’t start it. I will, however happily say I am sorry if I offended you, and try to end it, and I don’t know you, so I can’t say you’re a buffoon, but your nonsensical post, which was one of three at that time, did irk me because it offered nothing of value, and I believe everyone has some kind of value and has the ability to offer it to others by choice. By choice. Thank you for the movie suggestion. The link you provided for primewire looked different to me, but I’ve found the movie and I’ve added it to my list. Take care, Jacque
Hmmmm.... a couple vampire movies i kind of liked that are a little less known I can think of off the top of my head would be "Shadow of The Vampire" and "Dracula dead and loving it" ...The first one is kind of boring and dreary, and the second one is a bit of a slapstick cornball comedy, but i liked them anyway. If you havent seen them maybe check them out. Ill keep an eye open for some better ones. If you find any good ones let me know. I loved your last recommendation. I like all kinds of movies. Ill try to think of more action kind of movies in that alley to recommend to you....
Sorry about the late reply. I don't get on this site as often as we all used to. Actually I was born in Saigon and kidnapped by the U.S. Army and converted into a Yank. You can say I am a banana. Yellow on the outside and white on the inside. Never knew my biological father other than he was an U.S. soldier. I came over here because of the military police step father. You should see my long ,German surname. I do like the first and last Rambo flicks. Cheers!!!
If the Plutonium is in the case, it is harmless. You do realize that people transport it around the country, right? Obviously it is near people who are not wearing protective clothing. Frankly, protective suits are a last ditch effort. If it is live, the hazmat suit is not really going to save you. American Assassin definitely got that detail right.
triggered douche liberal
I think Jesus was one of the first Jewish superheroes to pull that "I am the Son of God" thing, so that's why he got away with it because his people never heard that kind of thing before and it was totally new to them
