A trail, a bicycle and a dog
Get the funk out
I remember my first life defining moment. I was 10 years old and my friend and I were on the monkey bars. She fell and landed wrong. Broke her leg. I didn't know what to do for her. After getting the school nurse, who called the paramedics and watching how they helped her; I had my moment: I wanted to be able to help people like that. I worked for that goal and accomplished it. My second defining moment came when I was told I had Multiple Sclerosis in 2003. To realize that I had a life of pain and deteriorating abilities in front of me. But, I made a choice: My MS doesn't define me. It's not all of who I am. I have MS, it doesn't have me. Wishing you a week where every moment speaks to you and opens up new possibilities, Precious. Be Blessed.
“There are moments that define a person's whole life. MOMENTS in which everything they are and everything they may possibly become hinge on a single decision.” ~~Jonathan Maberry
