The Boondocks - 3 years, 9 months ago
Well, I thought this episode was the funniest this season. It actually showed Huey trying to help his family like I was saying he should've done last episode. While not the best episode of Boondocks, I enjoyed the story of the hair gel turning it to a Breaking Bad parody. By the way, the title should be called Breaking Granddad.
Injustice - Gods Among Us - 3 years, 9 months ago
Loved the storyline and they had to cut out the big fight scenes because it's obviously a video game. The animation and story was enough to keep me entertained even though another universe league has been done before. This was original enough to stand alone, especially because of the 3D effects. Very great Justice League adventure that shows us that they can be our greatest savior or threat.
The Simpsons - 3 years, 9 months ago
Really loved this lego episode and how they played on how they were all block pieces. I don't like watching anything lego, but with the Simpsons I knew it would be funny. Lego seriously must be making so much money now with all these different movies and shows they're doing since you know a Simpsons lego kit will come from this. I enjoyed the animation and how the story had a message staying true to their roots.
Brick Mansions - 3 years, 9 months ago
Another typical action movie, storylines done a bunch of times. Watched because of Paul Walker and RZA who were very entertaining. A good watch if you like these action flicks, but nothing new to see.
Walk of Shame - 3 years, 9 months ago
Thought it was a cute movie, Elizabeth Banks really does well in this role. Not as funny as I was expecting, but the story was very entertaining. It was fun to see her crazy misadventures trying to get to work.
Batman Year One - 3 years, 9 months ago
I thought it was an interesting view of Batman dawning the suit, but they didn't delve deeper into his psyche. This movie felt more like it was Jim Gordon's origin story since they spent more time around his life. We hardly get to see Bruce's personal life, not even making Alfred a more integral part with him barely appearing. While Bruce did show some humanity there was a lot of unexplained superhuman moments that you'll see that's too unbelievable. I also didn't like that Catwoman was some lesbian street fighting prostitute. Even if she wasn't supposed to be a lesbian, her whole demeanor was presented that way. They did however do very well on the action scenes and the drama was intense. I liked the animation and that it had the cool dark tone we expect from Batman films.
Superman Unbound - 3 years, 9 months ago
Awesome, loved Supergirl and Brainiac in this. The script was well written and delved into the characters personalities and the animation was great. DC animated movies does it once again.
Orphan Black - 3 years, 9 months ago
The huge twist with Kira was the best, didn't see that coming. I also love how street smart Sarah, Felix, and Kira are that they can get through all this in an effective and calm manner. Kira is showing herself to be a little soldier in the making, I can see her becoming a lot like her mom pulling a few tricks on these opposing threats. Helena's storyline just keeps getting creepier. Alison is just hilarious to watch, she's a hot mess. Tatiana Maslany brings these clones to life, I really see them as individual characters and found myself forgetting it's really the same actress.
Neighbors - 3 years, 9 months ago
Let me start off by saying thanks to the person who uploaded this so early. . I loved this movie, had me laughing the whole way through. Zac and Seth make a surprisingly good duo and maybe it was because they were playing opposites. Either way, this has a lot of fun humor that we come to expect from this cast.
Almost Human - 3 years, 9 months ago
This was one of my new favorite shows, very well written, acted and had awesome special effects. Every episode felt like a movie and this reminded me of iRobot with Will Smith. Too bad it got cancelled due to low ratings because it will be missed. There was endless potential with the storyline and they should've given it atleast a second season.
@midnight - 3 years, 9 months ago
Chris Hardwick is pretty much the nerd version of Ryan Seacrest, which is a good thing. I loved all the shows he's hosted (except Singled Out) and love watching every midnight it's on. POINTS!!!!
The Boondocks - 3 years, 9 months ago
I've been a fan of the Boondocks since before the show and loved the comic strips, but this season seems to be lacking the genius of Aaron McGruder. I feel like the writer's are trying to maintain the same social political messages in the show, but lacking the humor to show it properly. They didn't give the family more comedic scenes, this would've been the perfect time for Huey to use his book smarts and Riley's street smarts to help get money or get them out of their money situation. The Freeman's all just sat back while their lives were uprooted and that's not their personalities. This episode left a bad taste in my mouth by the end and the only funny bits were with the 'Good Times' references which went on longer than needed. I have hope for this show since I've heard they're finally bringing in Michael Caesar from the comics who was Huey's best friend, but without the creator I'm worried how he'll be portrayed.
Black Ink Crew - 3 years, 10 months ago
I really love this show because even though it focuses more on the drama, the drama is soooooo entertaining. I like that the tattoo's show more of the only positive thing that keeps them stable. It's very real for a reality show and you can tell that their issues are not just for show. Each person has their own struggles they have to go through and you can connect on a certain level or see a different side of inner city life. As ratchet as it can be touching at times, this show is the truth.
Futurama - 3 years, 10 months ago
I will truly miss this show, I've seen every episode atleast twice by now. I'm happy Futurama survived being cancelled once before to give it a proper ending. I only wish they could've given this an hour special because I wanted more with a view of Fry and Leela with kids. Their love being the focus of the last episode was touching though and the story was original. I loved the whole cast of characters, especially Bender. Goodbye to a great cartoon!.
Orphan Black - 3 years, 10 months ago
Yet another amazing episode, so many twists to the story for just an hour. I'm always impressed with the writing and how they balance the comedy with the drama and action. Not a moment in this didn't give us more insight on all of the characters. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll just leave this saying that I can't wait to see what comes next. My favorite show right now, a week is too long.
Son of Batman - 3 years, 10 months ago
I was just happy to see Damian as Robin in this, he stole the show. He has to be my favorite Robin to be honest, I love his attitude and costume. Say what you want that he is spoiled and entitled because of his lineage, but he is a way more skilled sidekick at that age than the other Robin's. It was hilarious seeing him play mini Bruce Wayne at his office.
Orphan Black - 3 years, 10 months ago
That's how you do a season premiere, it had EVERYTHING!!! I can't exactly put how I feel into words about how amazingly great the writing for this show is. The action, humor, and drama is very smart and this managed to give us updates on all the characters from season 1. From beginning to end, it was just perfect. Tatiana Maslany just keeps surprising me with her acting, this is going to be an epic season.
Kid Cannabis - 3 years, 10 months ago
Officially one of my top favorite stoner movies. The story, characters, and acting was on point. It's very realistic with some comedy hinted throughout. I love seeing these little hidden movie gems on primewire, so glad I got to watch.
Community - 3 years, 10 months ago
I've been a fan since the beginning, but this season was the worst. They tried too hard to get the gang back together and the jokes weren't as good as previous seasons. I liked the story for the finale, but it just wasn't funny to me. Sorry to say that the show is going downhill and has officially jumped the shark.
Orphan Black - 3 years, 10 months ago
Huge fan of the show and was addicted from episode 1. I love the premise with clones and the acting by Tatiana Maslany is AMAZING!!! I'm so mad that this is only 10 episodes a year, it deserves more. Anxiously waiting for season 2.
Believe - 3 years, 10 months ago
I tried like many others and give this a shot, but it's just not good. The acting and the storylines are bad and I don't care about any of the characters. You can talk about it's potential to get better, but after a certain number of episodes people just tune out. I think NBC has been going downhill with their supernatural shows since cancelling Heroes.
The Simpsons - 3 years, 10 months ago
One of the best episodes of the Simpsons, especially in the past few years. I always love their future episodes and this was like a continuation of the last one, wish I saw Lisa's daughter though. They must've gotten paid or known about the movie Transcendence since they took that storyline with Homer and it just so happens to be coming out in theaters. The writing for this episode was great and I was laughing all the way. There's also a lot of hidden gems as far as the future characters which made me smile.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier - 3 years, 10 months ago
I agree with everyone that this was better than the first Cap film. It's just the perfect Marvel movie with great acting, action, and story. Sets up room for a bunch of other Marvel films which I can't wait to see, especially with Falcon joining the Avengers. Enjoy comic book movie fans!
Vampire Academy - 3 years, 10 months ago
This was a fun watch, but the story was rushed and very cliché of all teen supernatural films. It's a terrible mix of Twilight and Harry Potter with nothing but special effects and forced relationships to keep you entertained. I know one of its genres is comedy, so I can excuse some of the bad acting. Overall, if you like these type of movies than you'll enjoy and if not than skip this.
Best Night Ever - 3 years, 10 months ago
Another female version of the Hangover, but still very funny to watch. They did it in a more original way than Bridesmaids or Bachelorette movie with the all camera view (though that is done in other genre movies). It's enjoyable and worth the watch if you love these raunchy comedy movies like I do.
Being Human - 3 years, 10 months ago
I've been a fan since the beginning and this show was perfect in my opinion. The way they ended it made me so happy, I had to watch the episode twice because I'm sad it's over. Said it since day one that the US version is miles above the UK one and they improved upon every aspect of the roommates storylines. R.I.P. Being Human US
Shameless - 3 years, 10 months ago
I absolutely loved this season finale, everybody is back in the game. This show just keeps getting better and better, I can't wait to see what happens to all of them. LONG LIVE FRANK!!!!
Bad Words - 3 years, 10 months ago
Jason Bateman is a great comedic actor and never disappoints. The story was funny, but became predictable by the end. Overall, it's enjoyable and worth a one time watch.
The Walking Dead - 3 years, 10 months ago
This wasn't the best finale, I was expecting more to happen. I did like the plot points with some of the group joining back together, but the only good scene was with them taking down the Claimed Gang. Too many flashbacks which I felt wasn't needed and I was hoping they would've explained more about Terminus. It was a good episode, just wanted more out of it since we won't see a new one till October.
Teen Wolf - 3 years, 11 months ago
This was an action packed finale, the most fighting I've seen for a Teen Wolf episode. I was very skeptic of the second half of the third season, but it turned out good in the end. I want to see how these new relationships with the characters works out with the deaths of some of the main group. I also was freaking out at the end with the new villain, she's gonna be awesome next season!!
Divergent - 3 years, 11 months ago
Overall, it was just okay for me. Everything about it screamed The Hunger Games copycat, so I didn't see anything new and this was just made to get money off the success of that. This is basically the formulaic tween movie based on a series of novels, so expect action and a cheesy romance. Throw it in with Twilight, The Host, Beautiful Creatures, The Immortal Instruments, and I Am Number Four.
Ride Along - 3 years, 11 months ago
Really funny, the script does well mixing Kevin Hart's eccentricity and Ice Cube's seriousness. Definitely the perfect story for these 2 being put together as cops. I will admit that it isn't as funny as others may make it, but that's only because they tried to have some more dramatic moments. It's a fun watch and I hope for a sequel.
Mardi Gras Spring Break - 3 years, 11 months ago
Don't let the cheesy poster with Carmen Electra fool you because this film is actually decent. It's pretty much on the level of National Lampoon or Broken Lizard films, so if you don't like them than you won't like this. The story is entertaining with really funny moments even though it's ultimately predictable. I will admit that I probably wouldn't have watched if it didn't have some recognizable actors because it is an overused genre. Josh Gad is the only person I've seen whose fat folds literally hide his nipples if his arms are down, very weird. Overall, worth a one time watch.
Ginger Snaps - 3 years, 11 months ago
Honestly, this is my favorite werewolf movie. The story was original making it set in high school and the cast was perfect. Trust me when I say that if you love teen and supernatural movies than you need to watch if you haven't.
Party Down South - 3 years, 11 months ago
This is the country version of Jersey Shore which makes it better. The people don't seem fake, they all like each other and still have crazy drunken fun. This is kind of my replacement for Buckwild since I also loved that show. I hope for many seasons more.
JLA Adventures Trapped in Time - 3 years, 11 months ago
This was a good movie and while I wasn't a huge fan of the animation, I appreciate the Super Friends throwback. The artwork was a mix of Batman the Brave and the Bold with Young Justice, which was a unique style for DC animated movies. I actually liked the new costume designs, but as said the animation made it look sloppy. The story did have plotholes as far as the time travel, but it was entertaining overall.
Fillmore! - 3 years, 11 months ago
I loved this show back in the day and appreciate it even more now. Such an awesome concept of middle school hall monitor security as kid cops. Wish this series got more seasons because there was great potential. 10/10
Cheap Thrills - 3 years, 11 months ago
I liked the dark humor and this slightly reminded me of the movie Funny Games. Kinda predictable story, but very entertaining to watch.
Broad City - 3 years, 12 months ago
Best female comedy show I've ever seen. Fits my generation and these chicks are HIGHlarious!!
Shameless - 3 years, 12 months ago
Just started watching and saw all 4 seasons in 4 days. Totally addicted and one of the best dark comedy shows I've seen.
