First one was way better! They lost focus in this movie, and just dragged on, with its sub plots "family"... It suppose to be about "GREED"

I really loved it. Shia is a very good actor in my opinion. Better acted in this than in the transformer movies. I think he really grows in movies and this one was a good one of him, he gets better. Douglas was also great and he really made a good performes. I give this 8 out of 10 (8/10) and i'll place it in my favorite also.

This film was born in a shadow; that's the feeling I had while watching a good portion. Sure, the comparisons are inevitable but the "sequel" stands up fine. Although, sometimes the connection seems satired even during scenes when the mood is serious. Hard not to do when the reality is just as sick and disgusting. GG happens to be talented so his blunt appraisal somehow distinguishes his actions as a moral high ground compared to the rampant corruption, fraud, incompetence, and irresponsibility that is enabling others to not only become undeservedly wealthy but create growing socio-economic disparity. Bubbles will be perpetual although moral hazard is blatantly disregarded for the benefit of a few while the rest of society is burdened. That's what happens when the citizens are not just apathetic but entranced by a herd mentality and fooled by illusion. How much longer until the people decide to take action and end such inequality?

Story is very very stupid, rest is pretty good.Movie has nothing to real life, really retard plot.100 mil $ are nothing,no1 needs them and the smartest thing to do is to give them to some nutcase lab that invent hot water.

For what it is and it being a sequel. I think they did a good job with the storyline, a bit mushier but along with the many different storlines( There is even an eco-friendly sub plot) it's new and a bit different from the first one. Really good scripts with one liners anyone would love to say.
