I really liked this movie, very soft spoken and very close to real. Can't wait to read the book

The movie was just as great as the book. I truly adore Kristen Stewart in this film. One word: Remarkable.

Social conduct movie about main topic of bullying, and worthlessness. Actress, Kristen Stewart does a good job of playing a teen who suffers rape, yet she tells no one and it destroys her from all sides except Art. Kristen should stick to these roles instead of teen romance where her acting is poor. 5/5 star for this...almost documentary style of a tormented highschooler.

I really enjoyed this film, it brought back some painful memories for me but also gave me hope. I had several weepy moments, but was so glad she was able to find her voice in the end and talk about what happened. awesome movie. 10/10

I really love this movie. It also made sense when symbolism was mentioned and what it meant to Melinda when it came to a tree. In the beginning it was a symbol of something horrible but when she was able to express herself painting the tree through art it was what helped her overcome her trauma.

beautiful movie. i'm glad i watched it until the end, even though it was loong and sometimes boring. it brought tears to my eyes. the 5 minutes of a movie are usually the best, especially in this case.

Sad, but this situation is all too common. So many attacks go unreported usually out of shock, fear, shame, etc. This is a good story for every young girl to watch, it will show them to speak and get help. Her friend should have questioned why Melinda was so withdrawn and different. When someone shows a drastic change in behavior, it's usually a sign that something traumatic has happened to them.

I liked this movie, it was, in my opinion, better than the book..although I know it would be hard to talk about something like what happened to her, I feel that I was screaming at her the obvious solution from the very beginning. Although, I did skip over the rape scene, it was extremely awkward and uncomfortable when it started, so I figured I knew what happened, why watch it? She has the solution to her problem, refuses to act upon it, and lives with it...painfully. It was a very nice movie though. 3.5/5

Great performance by the actress. It's always the right choice to talk to someone about your problems. Keeping your problems to yourself wont do any good. I rate this movie 5/5.
